A walking multi-course meal in historic San Jose del Cabo!

Fun tour of San Jose del Cabo near the town square. Think of it as eating a multiple course meal while walking through a historic part of Cabo. Everything we had was great, and some owner's even stayed open late so we could stop by and sample some of their cuisine. We even got dessert!

Thoroughly enjoyed this excursion. "The Connector" was an amazing guide, providing useful tips and insights with fantastic humour. Every location was great, each one with different food and salsa's each one amazing in their own way. I highly recommend this excursion early in your stay to get a great feel for San José and what hidden gems are available.

Not worth the price!

For almost $90 a person we had 3 small tacos and a supposedly 4th taco from another restaurant they literally had nothing on it. The guide also approached my teenage daughter unprovoked saying how one of her rings was fake and asked what she paid for it. Would not recommend!

Great tour with Hector was amazing! Food was delicious and Hector was very knowledgeable about food and city! Best tequila tasting we had on trip as well (and we had various). We can’t wait to try cooking class some day as well!

Margarita tasting was interesting. Tacos were also unique in two locations. Tour guide had shown knowledge of area and businesses we visited. Overall cost however excessive in relation to overall tasting experience and full tour. I would not recommend due to value!!!

Our guide, Gilberto met us at the church on the square in San José with a friendly smile and eager to share his knowledge of San José, tacos, and so much more! We went to a few in-town restaurants and a couple that were a little of the beaten path which was nice as we got to see a side of town we hadn’t been to - all good, clean, safe, friendly, and fun. Each place served a different kind of taco, offered delicious margaritas, cold beer, and other drinks. It was a delightful evening in San José! ¡Gracias Gilberto!

Great activity in San Jose del Cabo

The tour was great and there was too much food and drink to even finish! We went to 4 taco shops and then a tequila tasting at the tour office. From the 4 restaurants we had soapa, chalupa and two tacos. We also could buy some delicious drinks like dragonfruit or hibiscus margaritas, mezcal drinks and of course beer. The tequila tasting was educational and these were not blanco tequila, they were reposados and anajos. The best part arguably was Tania, the tour guide who was extremely friendly, knowledgeable about the foods and well travelled within Mexico so she could share information about the origins of the different Mexican foods. Recommended for a night of fun!

Walking through downtown San Jose tasting great flavors appreciated by the community members was worth every calorie! Mouth watering flavors, different proteins, delicious tortillas, fresh salsa, and desert! Happy people networking, eating together, sharing best eats and times. Booked the day tour too

Great Eating Tour of San Jose del Cabo

This was one of the highlights of our trip. Gilberto was a great host and tour guide. He is very knowledgeable of both the food and the history of San Jose. It was clear his goal was for us to have good time and learn about the town and culture. We stopped at three restaurants for tacos, a chocolate store that did a tasting, another restaurant for desert, a friends jewelry store and then tequila tasting to end the evening. We ate too much, but will do it again the next time we visit.

Great guide, Hector who seemed to know everyone in town. We went to 4 places and a stop to try tequilla. All had the best food. One was a street cart that I would not have dared to try on our own but had big great tasting tamales. Being a Friday night one place had a band that made conversation impossible but actually was very good and I enjoyed the music. The other family with us brought 2 small children and Hector was wonderful about assisting with the stroller as we navigating the hilly streets of San Jose Del Cabo. It was a fun evening and we were full at the end. Unfortunately we ran out of time to reach the dessert place before it closed but we were full anyway.

Gilberto was awesome - showed us so many memorable stalls, restaurants and a couple of special tequila spots! Food was varied to give a real authentic Mexican experience. $ was super fair. We got a real insight into Mexican history and culture as well. Highly recommend Gilberto and Juan More Taco… thx guys👍🙌

The Tour Guide Made the Tour Very Special

Benedicto is an outstanding tour guide. He knows the places to go as well as the history of the town. Because of him, I had to opportunity to try anew kinds of tacos like sopes which were outstanding. Not only did we have tacos on this tour, but we also went to a chocolate factory and learned about chocolate's history. The group also did a tequila tasting. While we were trying out the different types of tequila, Benedicto was out finding a place that was still open so we could have some churros. He really wanted us to try them. To finish the evening well, he found my friend and I a taxi and negotiated a great fare. He is a living example of outstanding service. Thank you for Benedicto, Juan More Tacos.

A Great Authentic Mexican Food experience!

We had a wonderful evening with Benedicto! He was funny, personable and had lots of info and stories to tell. Loved visiting the local authentic Mexican restaurants and the tequila tasting was so much fun. He was even kind enough to search out fresh churros and bring them to us while we sipped our tequila.

Hector the Connector was an awesome host for our evening of walking, eating and tequila tasting!!! We explored areas in San Jose that we would not have otherwise been in. Had wonderful tacos and learned so much about tequila and then enjoyed tasting! Would highly recommend and now we know a few places we will get back to!
