On our full day snorkeling trip our guides made sure to give us the best experience possible! They knew all the best spots and gave us as much time in the water as we wanted. We saw amazing fish, coral, eagle rays, a barracuda, nurse sharks, a sea turtle, and even a manatee!! It was such a bucket list experience and I’m so glad we went. Make sure to buy waterproof sunscreen though, my entire back will not forgive me for this day haha. Definitely worth it though! :)

Snorkeling Fun

Eric and Captain Phillip were great tour guides! We spent all day with them and saw plenty of sharks, sting rays, and even an eagle ray jumping out of the water. The food was good and the fruit was fresh. They made sure to keep everyone’s cups full of Rum Punch and everybody was happy!

Disappointed with Salt Life Echo Tours

The snorkeling was awesome and we would not trade it for anything but there are several tours you can take that are more convenient (you have to ferry to Caye Caulker from San Pedro) and Salt Life Echo promised Go Pro access to take pictures that we did not get. We asked the tour guide and he said he was an independent contractor without cameras and we needed to talk to Salt Life (didn't do much good when we were 1 hr into the trip)

Pro - The staff were informative, they snorkeled with us at some spots and guided us to the sea animals!! So cool!! - Snorkeling was amazing I saw Stingray, dolphins, Manatees, fish, turtle, so many - eco friendly and experienced captain Con - boat was wayyyy too uncomfortable very small boat, crammed 14 people - started late at 9:50am - no roof on the boat?!! - wish that there was a foot wash off station after the ride. - The whole trip they said they will be sending a GoPro footage and they didn’t send… sigh I wish I brought my own! But overall, it was a good snorkeling, good vibes, I could tell Captain Phillip prioritized safety and it was appreciated. Pick this one if your priority is snorkeling! But if it’s more good times in the sea and you are sensitive to sun,… may be choose a company with a comfier boat. Also… wear swim shorts and a rash guard I got really bad sub burn on my butt! (Snorkeling haha) Thanks for a wonderful day!

Great experience! The staff was informative and fun, and were helpful if we had issues with the snorkel equipment. The marine life we saw were incredible and will not soon forget this excursion!

We loved seeing eagle rays, stingrays, a manatee, lots of conch shells, a TON of colorful fish, and of course swimming alongside the many many nurse sharks! Definitely recommend this experience! Lunch was tasty too!!

Seasick? No problem

We went out on the windiest day of the week. The boat was rocking like crazy so me and my mom got super sick. The guides were very patient and understanding. I was still able to enjoy the tour though and enjoy most of the stops. Good heavy lunch with rum punch, although we were too sick to try it. They were eco friendly too, didn’t feed the animals.

Jamal and Elvis were the best guides! They took us to a spot where we saw 3 manatees!!! It was just incredible. We saw so much and they were very knowledgeable (and funny). Kept us entertained and Elvis stayed with our young daughter on the boat when she was feeling overwhelmed. He is also an amazing cook and fed us very well. We had an amazing and unforgettable time with them.

Captain Loki did a great job getting to all the places listed on the itinerary, had a great personality and the right blend of skills. We saw a lot of everything, including a manatee, which are not always easy to find. We had the right amount of time at each location, and never felt rushed. Loki also did a nice job of driving the boat to avoid rough water. Both he and his helper captain Cook worked very hard for our group of 8, and we felt that we got the very best out of our experience! (Oh, then there was the rum punch. Maybe that's why we had such a good time.)

We saw many schools of fish , Eagle ray, Lobster , Baracuda at Chan Marine Reserve which has shallow clear water and white sand. Do not forget batteries enough for GoPro. Unfortunately My battery is finished as my start snorkeling . Fortunately I can see Turtle and Manatee behind Caye Caulker when we return back. Actually Manatee like quiet warer , that day has a strong current but we can see. Good luck!

Unreal snorkeling. Charles and his partner were great! Very knowledgeable about the area and marine life. Worth the full day price and time commitment. If you are fair skinned— WEAR A SWIM SHIRT AND SHORTS/PANTS. Those buns will burn regardless of how frequently you reapply. Happy exhausted by the end of the day. Love that they take photos/videos for you as well.
