I suppose my opinion is a little skewed because I'm a glass artist but, this event wasn't worth it. The demonstration was very short and awful. The glass artist made a horse, and it was bad. I could tell he knew that he messed up halfway through and couldn't start over because it would look unprofessional to the audience. Tour of the factory - there wasn't one. We saw a gallery of random work. Some pieces were stunning others were terrible. I never received that free glass piece that was supposed to be a part of the event. I did end up buying something from the gallery. So at least, I got something positive to remember the trip.

It was a NICE experience!! It was really cool both their store and how they make glass (at the top of that it was live so it was super COOL and you will be also amazed by the tour guide’s explanation) Also the people in the work shop are really nice… so yeah I would recommend this place if you want a full experience of Murano!! 🥰✨

Awesome Glass Blowing Demo & Giftshop

Great glass blowing demo by a master craftsman. In 15 minutes he transformed a lump of glass into a beautiful vase and an exquisite horse. The gift shop is awesome that ranges from affordable tourist trinkets to astonishing creations for the super affluent. Service is professional, educational and unobtrusive unless you show interest in a particular item. Don’t be shy about negotiating a better deal than their “discounted” price.

Was great to see the skill behind how Murano glass is produced and the history behind it. Owners of the factory were very friendly. Definitely worthwhile experience if not seen before.

Water Taxi Not Running due to fog

The most memorable moment for me was the demonstration of the skilled glassblower manipulating globs of hot molten liquid, which transformed it into solid creative masterpieces.

Felt like a scam

It is NOT one and a half hour of tour. We sat 20 minutes with a demonstration of a man blowing a vase and making a horse. That was it. Then we were led to some super luxury part of the store where they wanted us to use store credit. No guided tour. No history lesson. It was over within 30 minutes. Avoid this trap.

Unaccommodating and rude

Could not get there on time due to a train being delayed by 90min. Reached out to them over 4 hours before my visit to aswitch my time to an hour later and they didn’t respond until the next day and said “No”. Very disappointed with this service and ending up going to a free tour instead and it was great!

The glass blowing was wonderful trying to find the place was a little annoying because Google maps always want you to go to the other side of the canal and in the rain it was not fun since it was flooded took us over an hour to find this place but once we got to the Glass place they were wonderful and a great Place see different types of glass blowing.. It was perfect. The glass in this place is exquisite, very talented artist, and are so nice

Set was beautiful. Enjoyed the intimate setting to watch the two masters. There was enough time to get an appreciation for what they do. They made several pieces using dif techniques. Appreciated that we could use our ticket and get a credit on purchase. It was more enjoyable visiting some of the other shops after watching the hands on demo. We felt like we knew more so could compare the pieces.

Murano Glass Tour!

The experience was great! The guide explained the glass process in English, French and Italian as the glass master made the three different pieces. After the demonstration we were guided into the main showroom where there were many great pieces of glass art. As a group several pieces were purchased and will be cherished for years to come. The sales staff were very good and very helpful. However, there was one gentleman that would hover and make you feel very infortable. Would still recommend anyone visiting Murano to book the tour.

Perfect spot for a quick tour! Live glass blowing. Small group. Make sure you get there a little early to make the group time, and find it. Kinda hidden through a small garden.

Disappointing - book elsewhere

Really not worth booking this tour. The guide was more interested in talking about his own experience and getting his black belt with a visitor than explaining what was going on. Then he’d remember to tell us something. Disappointing and it’s all about you buying at the end. Your ticket gives you £ to spend but most is over this value. The skilled glass maker was clearly very skilled but would have been nice to know what was going on. Find a better tour or we heard there was possibly a free one not far away from this one.
