We took this tour for three nights and it was wonderful! We had one cloudy night but we had great aurora the other two nights, and it was an unforgettable experience.
Julian and Steve were really professional. They took us to the best spots to view the aurora - even on the cloudy night Julian made a lot of effort to find a clear spot despite the unfavorable weather conditions. They also took unlimited photos for all of us!
We really enjoyed the tour experience as a whole - it felt private and relaxing, and we never felt rushed. I would book this tour again if I ever come back to Yellowknife. Highly recommended!

Our experience was good. Julian and Steve were professional. They do need to change the description to say hot chocolate will be provided and remove the snacks part as we did not receive anything.

I joined 3 different northern light tours offered by 3 different companies. Each tour is rated 4.5+. This one is not the best I had. The pickup time was not accurate and I waited for 25 minutes to be picked up. Julian drove us to different locations to see the northern lights. He also took pictures for us and shared the pictures right after the tours. The tour mentioned they offer "Beverages, Snacks", and "Coffee and/or Tea". They offered none of them. The attitude/tour service is not bad at all, but compared to the other 2 tour companies, it can be better for sure.

Our tour guide was awesome! He explained the itinerary for the night and the different levels of the Aurora Borealis!They also served the best hot chocolate!! We did 3 tours with different companies, so far this was the best!!

A great choice for our first night of aurora viewing! Julian was prompt and courteous, offering as many pictures as we wanted, and most importantly, found a good spot for the display.

Julian did a few stops looking for the north lights and asked to every person if they wanted a photo on every stop. He offered a delicious hot chocolate. For sure he did the best!

We booked this at the last minute and were promptly given pickup instructions. The bus was comfortable and Julian was a very friendly and knowledgeable tour operator. He takes an unlimited amount of pictures with his excellent camera! We enjoyed his conversation and the pictures we received were lovely (much better than phone pictures). It was also a great night, which is lucky! We were really glad we chose this tour and felt it was worth the money.

Although conditions were perfect lights didn’t appear until after 3am and my camera not very good, but it was an excellent experience that takes patience.

The pick up service was good, van was comfortable with big windows, would have been nice to have been better heated. Driver was loudly ( annoyingly ) talking with tour operator during drive ( nothing to do with the trip ). We did see some lights - not a great night for it but not their fault. Photographs were taken of us, as advertised, but we were unable to find out how to access them - we would really appreciate some help with that, half a cup of hot chocolate given. Seemed like minimal service of what was advertised was offered .

Glass half full or half empty. It's all perspective. There is no limit to the amount of hot chocolate one can drink, however with aurora hunting there isnt always washrooms at every stop. We give enough to hot chocolate to wash down the cookies, but feel we have a due diligence to not over load bladders. As mentioned in the email we sent you earlier today which contained the link for your photos, we asked you at the end of the tour to send us your email address. We asked everyone who booked with viator to do this and most did send their emails and received their photos the same night.
