Dear Melania,
Thank you very much for sharing this feedback about your recent Mt Titlis tour.
The actual weather conditions with rain and wind are typical in our country, especially during autumn. Thus, we run all our tours regardless of the weather as long as the cable cars and cogwheel trains are operating and our guests' safety is guaranteed. Nevertheless, when our mountain partners decide to close any lift, we do our best to find an alternative and still give our guests an experience.
On the day of your tour, we encountered heavy winds, which resulted in the closure of the second cable car ascent to Mt. Titlis. However, the middle station, Trübsee, remained open and accessible to our guests, providing an opportunity to explore this beautiful area and make the most of the situation. While we understand that this is a different experience compared to reaching the summit of Mt. Titlis, we believe in providing our guests with an alternative to ensure they can still enjoy their day in the Swiss Alps.
All guests received a partial refund which represents the price difference between the Mt Titlis and the Trübsee experience.
We hope that you still keep fond memories of your stay in Switzerland despite the rainy weather and look forward to welcoming you on tour on your next visit to our country (maybe during summer).
Best regards,
Ambika from Best of Switzerland Tours
