Great value, great experience

Roman is incredibly knowledgeable about mixology and is adept at sharing that knowledge in an engaging way. We were made to feel comfortable straight away. Roman explains every step of the process clearly and carefully guides you without being condescending. We feel confident about being able to reproduce our cocktails at home. Overall, it was a lot of fun.

Even before arriving, Romain was great. We had to change the dates and he was very flexible about it. He's an amazing host, from the moment we arrived we felt very welcome. The workshop was so much more than what we were expecting. With great attention to detail, you learn how to make cocktails and a little about the history. If you're looking for a cocktail workshop, you should book this one! Romain's passion for cocktails is palpable at every step. We had an amazing time, we'll definitely go back again!

I had the most amazing time at this cocktail workshop. It was everything I expected and more. It part history, part laughter and all good. Located in a cozy neighborhood away from city center, it’s definitely worth the time and trip. And the drinks are delicious!

Fun and Informative Mixology Workshop

I've been to mixology workshops before but never one as much fun as this one. Romain was extremely organized and talked about many different aspects of making drinks. We made two very different and delicious drinks. I highly recommend this workshop for a fun evening in Amsterdam.

Learn, Drink and LOTS OF FUN!

WE HAD SO MUCH FUN! We learned how to make two different cocktails, one Gin base and one Rum base. We learned about Gin and Rum - the origin and how it is made. Roman opens up his home for this workshop and is such a great host! Please be warned, his apartment is on the 3rd floor and Amsterdam staircases are STEEP, however, the VIEW makes up for it all! An overall GREAT TIME!

Me and my husband were very excited to learn more about mixology, and Roman did such a good job in teaching us. As fans of quality spirits, we learned about the ins and outs of where certain drinks came from, how they were best served, and which ingredients are paired best with one another to achieve the best flavour. He does not only know his stuff; he is also a true gentleman and a great teacher. With this knowledge in hand (and beverages in our bellies) we now feel confident enough to take the next step in our career-shift. :-)

I bought this as a birthday present for my best friend who has always said she wants to try mixology. I couldn’t have made a better decision. She said it’s the best birthday gift she ever got!! Her words : “ It was an amazing experience - right from the cocktails, to the explanation, to the energy and the amazing hospitality! Cocktails were DELICIOUS. Highly recommend this for anyone visiting Amsterdam!” She talked about how amazing it was to meet new people through this experience. And she said that the way the event was structured was amazing. She learned so much and is walking away so happy.

Mixology at its Best.

Our evening with Roman was a highlight of a week in Amsterdam. Roman could not be more welcoming and affable. His apartment is straight out of a magazine, smart and stylish it’s use as a ‘work’ place extremely well thought out and presented. Along with an entertaining and insightful historical narrative context of mixology we were treated to making 2 full cocktails of Romans invention. After each we were allowed to enjoy them either in the lounge or on a terrace while Roman re-prepped the work areas. We could not recommend this evening more. If you are in Amsterdam you should try this at least once!

We had an amazing experience! Roman is a great professional and he is really passionate about art of cocktails. He conducts the workshop in a very interesting way, combines historical facts and jokes whilst making cocktails. Cocktails that were invented by him are the most delicious that we have ever drunk. Roman inspired us to buy a cocktail set to make them at home. We were searching for a nice experience for our anniversary and it turned out to be a great choice for celebrating. Atmosphere was very comfortable and friendly. Another romantic part was to sit on a nice balcony and enjoy self made cocktails :) We strongly recommend to get such a nice experience!
