Top Amsterdam Highlights Made Easy
Seeing the Van Gogh Museum was the catalyst for our 3-day visit to Amsterdam. I heard rumors that tickets were sold out through Feb. (2 months)? We received our online tickets the day before visit. Recommend visit Museum early in day. The venue is huge, but gets progressively busier throughout the morning. The canal ride is scenic and provides excellent historic and architectural context of the city.

Fun combo activity
The Van Gogh Museum was wonderful. For those of you doing the Cruise, be sure and get your tickets and time as soon as you arrive in Amsterdam. It would be nice if an announcement was made at the beginning of the cruise to keep the conversation at a minimum so everyone can hear the commentary.

Van Gogh/ Canal Cruise Combo not worth time and effort
Van Gogh Museum was incredible. the instruction on meeting places was confusing, even the reps at the Museum agreed. They weren't meeting places for the Museum just the location. The Canal ride was not worth doing . It was at night and you couldn't even distinguish the buildings the guide was describing. Would recommend purchasing Museum tickets directly with museum and select a cruise yo think you would enjoy and purchase separately.
