Amsterdam Tulip Festival
Gary_B, May 2023
The Tulip festival is spectacular and our driver from BV was very informative. It’s a long day, be prepared, but totally worth it. Dealing with Viator was less helpful. It took multiple calls and texts right up to the last day to straighten out their mistakes with our advance booking.
10,000,000 Tulips

A must if you are in Amsterdam in the spring. It’s a shame the gardens are only open for 8 weeks. Simply magnificent!
Dream come true.

Would recommend this tour with only one problem. The tour company made an error with the farm tour part. They did not confirm the time of the farm tour, which we were later advised only occurs at 11:30 AM and we did not arrive until the afternoon. This was very disappointing to all of us on the tour as this was in the description on the website. The tour driver was very sorry for this although it was not his fault. He found someone at the farm who at least would answer questions we had. He also stopped on the way back to Amsterdam so we , after getting the farmers permission could walk into the flower fields.

We were about a week early for all the tulips to be blooming, but the hyacinths and daffodils as well as magnolia trees were in full bloom. The gardens are lovely. Great lunch at Matt’s Braisserie. Jan was a great tour guide.
