      Great experience. Everything is provided. The hike up can be a bit exhausting, but you have to option to have hired help carry up your equipment. Staff were helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend.

      This was an amazing experience. It was a difficult hike but more than worth it! CA Travelers is a great company very professional and they make sure you are well taken care of.

      Hike was brutal but the guides were very accommodating and helpful. I do not speak much Spanish, however the guides understood and found ways to communicate with me throughout the trip. They would let the group space out and keep guides throughout so you weren’t ever alone and never felt rushed. Food was great and accommodating for many different diet types.
      Difficult but beautiful experience

      I’ll start by saying that this hike is the very definition of difficult especially for me because of my lack of hiking experience. You really do be 100% prepared! Although it was very difficult for me and I was the last of our tour group, my porter and guide were completely understanding and so sweet. My porter was Lorena and my guides name was Alex, they were both very encouraging and kind to me, they tried to not make me feel bad about being the last. They kept up good conversation and helped with whatever they could. Couldn’t have asked for a better guide and porter!

      This hike is brutal, both ways. Be super ready to be completely exhausted and dirty since the very fine dust goes everywhere. In terms of the company and my experience with them they were very organized, professional, and patient with us. The guides don’t speak English but they try and communicate in any way they can to maximize people’s comfort. They don’t rush you and they are very motivating so you can really go at your own pace. The gear, this is where the company loses points for me, they really don’t have great gear, the coats they give are very low quality they’re not actually windbreakers for the most part, and the shoe selection is atrocious. I rented out some boots and they had 0 grip where I had to switch boots with my guide towards the end of the hike. The person in charge did not charge me for them and said he would throw them out which is very appreciated, but gear should be checked beforehand and upgraded, especially with a hike as dangerous and as challenging as this one. I also think they should put their pricing for the horse, truck, and portée option so people are ready and are able to bring cash beforehand.

      Loved the tour! Guides were super nice, helpful and never rushed us. The camping was in front of the Vulcano, so you were able to see a beautiful view. Highly recommended!

      10/10 - highly recommend this tour. Very well organised and great local guides. The camp site is so close to Feugo Volcano and much better than other tours we walked past. Tough hike but we'll worth it.
