The Jolly Pirates Ships depart from the area at MooMba Beach. MooMba Beach is located in Palm Beach by the high rise hotels and just between the Holiday Inn and the Marriott. Look for the large thatched roof tops. Guests meet just beside the MooMba Bar at the Skull and Crossbones Pirate Shop.

Your cruise departs from MooMba Beach, where you'll board the 'pirate ship' and set off from the coast of Aruba, making your way to three snorkeling locations.
The first stop is Malmok, a shallow area near the shoreline where you can swim with tropical sea life in turquoise waters. Then head to Boca Catalina, where a shallow, protected cove provides visibility and calm waters to snorkel with marine life such as yellow-striped grunts, angel fish, green parrot fish, grouper, elk coral, brain coral, and barrel sponges. Your third stop is the shipwreck of the SS Antilla, a German ship that was sunk by its captain and crew near the beginning of WWII. It sits on the ocean floor in 60 feet (18 meters) of water with its hull and masts sticking up out of the sea. During your snorkel here, look for species of marine life that have turned the ship into their home.
When you're on board the boat, enjoy a barbecue lunch, open bar, and the rope swing. Lunch includes dishes such as ribs, chicken, Caribbean rice, potato salad, fruit, and bread. You can work on your tan in the sun or relax in the shaded portion.

We had the best time!!!! The crew on board were so much fun and very friendly. The drinks kept going and the laughs never stopped. The snorkeling was great but I did have a bruised rib so only did the one stop but I did jump off the rope swing (it's a MUST). Everyone just had such a great time, a definite repeat for us if we return to Aruba.

Awesome crew. Didn’t feel we were at the snorkeling spots very long. But it was still great. Bathroom was clean. More of a party vibe and very crowded.

Went on the excursion with my wife and two adult children. The crew was fantastic and made everyone comfortable for the duration of the trip. Those who didn’t want to snorkel or do the rope swing were allowed to just chill on the boat and have a few beverages. All four of us had a great time. We saw multiple variations of fish at all three locations and even got to see some sea turtles. Rope swing was awesome. I wasn’t expecting much of a lunch, but it was actually better than expected. The crew made the experience well worth it and I would recommend the Jolly Pirate to anyone headed to Aruba.

It was awesome!! We went to three separate spots to snorkel and swim. Saw the shipwreck, various fish, and turtles. Endless ice water and open bar cocktails. Even got served BBQ lunch! I can’t say enough nice things about all the crew members. They care about what they do and they do it well! Very involved, very genuine, very helpful. All in all, we would so do this again.
