  • One person in each kayak does need to be able to swim 20+ metres
  • Minimum age 3 years old. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult in the kayak.
  • Weight limit 100kg per person or 200kg total per Clearyak
  • Clearyak is suitable in all tides
  • Customers must check their email including spam & our top website banner in the morning of your experience.
  • Not recommended for travelers with a condition that may be worsened when paddling
  • This is a private tour/activity. Only your group will participate

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Double kayaks - one hour.

We booked for 2 adults but when we arrived were offered 2 seperate double kayaks. I guess we should have read the detail more carefully and just booked 1 as each kayak seats two people! You have the use of the kayak for 1 hour. Experience was a lot of fun, although weekend in January so it was packed with people which meant being very aware of not hitting people in a small area with no segregation of boats/swimmers. It also meant very few fish. We did find some but further out around the boundary of where we were allowed to go. Very beautiful. Would go again, plan more time to spend on the beach and take a picnic.

Hey Victoria, Apologies for the teams' confusion I've just had a look and don't see a double booking but TripAdvisor goes through our booking system and displays as 2 kayaks although it's only one. - we often extend the boundaries if the conditions permit to make the navigation of people a little easier (: We're glad you enjoyed your experience and would come again.
