    Pick up point was an easy 4-5 block walk from where Princess cruise ship docked. Good narrative in English aboard the full double decker bus. Good way to get an overview of the city. They sell one and two day passes…,we bought the two day pass by mistake on line.

    It was easy to find the locations, the bus was very nice, double decker. We stopped off at the zoo but directions to get into the zoo were zero, no signage. Lots of other tourists loved the museums.

    The upside was that purchasing thru Viator was a third of the price for the Princess version with the only difference that we had to walk a couple of blocks to get the bus. There were only a couple of places that we may have gotten off but opted to just stay on for the full two route circuit. Good overview, but not all that impressed with Auckland in general. All our other ports in NZ were much nicer.
    Lots to see, timing needs improvement

    The bus needs to keep to a schedule, not leave early. We were left waiting over 35 minutes for pick up, it meant we couldn't hop on and off as we would like as timing wasn't reliable Otherwise, it is a really good double loop around with plenty to see. Buses are clean and comfortable, commentary is clear.

    We took the Hop On Hop Off bus to see the red pandas at the Auckland Zoo. It was nice not having to rent a car to get out there.

    It’s A great one day tour off of a cruise ship is to get to from the cruise ship dock, and a wonderful 2 1/2–3 hour tour around all of Auckland. The bus actually goes to both the red and the blue line without having to get off and change buses. Additionally, our bus had the see-through roof that made a great for the weather that kept changing during the day.

    A must do. There is a restaurant inside but you need reservations. The gift shop has some great deals and beautiful items.

    Was not a busy time and no cruise ship in Port. Can only redeem voucher at stops 1 & 2. At stop 5 it changes to the blue route. If you stay on you do the blue route, then it changes back to complete the red route at the war memorial again. No earbuds but we could hear commentary just fine. We enjoyed it. Doesn't run very late tho.

    Great way to get around town and see the city when new to Auckland. Start your adventures on the bus early in the morning before rush-hour slows down your travel times on the bus. Fabulous narrations on the bus about the city and its history. I highly recommend this excursion. I purchased a 48 hour pass because there is so much to see and you can’t do it all in just one day.

    A city within a park! Loved the greenery. Clean city. Superb commentary. However, was grieved that this was yet another country overtaken by Europeans.

    The stops on the tour are okay and it's a good way to see the city quickly, but leave yourself plenty of time waiting for the next one to come. They say every 30 minutes but both of the stops I got off I had to wait 40-50 minutes for another one.

    with no up to date schedule it was difficult to plan. bus shows up every 30 min, but when you get to a stop you have no idea if you will be waiting 3 minutes or 30 minutes

    Kia ora Denise, Thank you for your feedback. When you get off a bus, the schedule is that another one will be coming through 30minutes later. We have 30 minute frequency throughout the routes.
