What To Expect

End your stay in Auckland with stress-free transport to the airport with this shared departure transfer. A courteous driver provides door-to-door service from your hotel or residence to the international or domestic terminal at Auckland Airport.

When making a booking, you will need to advise your flight details and your hotel details or residential address. Your transfer will be confirmed at the time of booking, and you will be provided with a travel voucher to present to the driver. Then board the shared shuttle to Auckland Airport.

Transfers operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and are operated by a fleet of modern, comfortable minivans.

Each traveler is allowed two (2) pieces of luggage equivalent to standard airline allowances and one (1) piece of hand luggage. Driver was pretty abrupt ... though mainly with other passengers. While it was not his fault that construction at the airport prevented him from a closer drop off, he wasn't very informative about that either.

I received advance notification of my pick up location and time, my shuttle arrived on time, great service and co-ordinated pick up planning of various passengers. I arrived at Auckland domestic airport with time to spare. Thank you.

I confirmed the pickup time with an agency operator by phone two days before. They even forwarded me the time via Viator's "talk to the operator" function. On the day of pickup, no one came. I waited 10 minutes before the pickup time and waited 10 minutes more. Ultimately, I had to call Uber to get to the airport. I got Viator's operator involved, but they could not reach the agency either. Terrible and unprofessional. Do not risk taking their shuttle service to the airport. It's not worth it, especially to the Auckland airport, because customs takes at least 2 hours. If you are late, you are likely to miss the plane.

My driver was right on time and was very nice. Even though he was overloaded with luggage, we got to the airport on time safely and I gave him a big tip. I rode shotgun and we had a very nice conversation.. I took the shuttle 3 times between the airport and downtown Auckland and always was a good experience.A great value for money.

Was quite good, the only problem (which is from the clients) is that they pick up people in different places and in some cases they do not understand that is not a private taxi, but are people waiting. In our case a couple with children they took too much time to be ready, saying good bye to relatives, bringing all suitcases and start moving out of the house 10 min later after arriving with the minivan with all of us. We could all make it, but people should go with time, because other people do not think the others could be in a hurry. If you take it with time enough all good

Poor Communication

We were left stranded. I had pick up time issues. I corresponded with (on Jan 2nd, prior to payment) and received an acknowledgement that the request for an earlier pick up (on Jan 5th) had been handled with the transport company in Auckland by Viator Customer Service. On Jan 5th (5 min after updated pick up time), my transport service had no knowledge of that information. The reservation form only required a flight departure time and transport was based on that time. There was no place to add comments. We were required to disembark the cruise ship by 0900, but had a 1550 flight departure. There was no appropriate place for us to remain at the port for the 3 1/2 hrs. The Viator Customer Service advised that our pick up time had been updated and adjusted. The Transport company had no record of that. I was able to contact the transport company after no one showed up at our updated time and get an earlier pick up time than the original, but it was an hour later than I had requested. Since I have no international calling plan, I'm not sure how much that call will cost me.

Was somewhat concerned that the transfer wouldn’t be timely but the driven arrived a couple minutes early and was pleasant and helpful. Ride to airport from central Auckland to almost one hour in heavier traffic. No issues so a good outcome.

Morning Experience I arrived in Auckland, found the super shuttle location, spoke to the driver and was directed to a shuttle which left promptly and delivered me to my location. (very helpful driver) Afternoon experience I received a phone call at 3:16 which I could not pick up and then another call at 3:33 alerting me that the shuttle was awaiting me to take me back to Auckland Domestic Airport, the problem was that I has asked to be picked up at 5:30 pm not delivered to the airport by 5:30. I asked if I could be rescheduled as per my booking and was advised that no shuttles were available until 9:00pm which would mean that I would miss my flight. This meant that I needed to arrange at short notice another method of transporting myself to the airport at a cost of approx $63. I would like to be either compensated for the additional transport that I had to arrange or at the very least refunded the $36 shuttle fee. Please feel free top contact me on +64 21614764.
