A great way to see Provence in one day

This tour was a great way to see some wonderful towns in Provence when you’re short on time. The van was comfortable and it was nice to be in such a small group. Our guide Bridgette was fantastic. Very knowledgeable

Nicola, our guide was 5 star. He took us to all the places and gave us tons of history and facts. Nicola knew exactly where to stand to get the best photo of places which was so helpful. The tour gives you a very good feeling about what Provence is all about. A perfect day in a glorious picturesque place. If you get Nicola ask him about the fabric in Nimes!

Our tourist guide, Thierry, was very friendly and knowledgeable about all the cities we were visiting. He managed good length of time for walk touring. It was a good choice for participating in a day trip.

Great day touring only issues were pickup was delayed and size of van with 2 larger people plus driver in the front was very squashed. Loved all the stops except last village- waste of time. Driver Terry was so accomodating but perhaps should have cautioned people for being continually late.

Nicola was one of the best tour guides we had while on vacation in France. He was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Nicola informed and guided us at every destination but also gave us time to explore on our own. We covered a lot of ground in one day and it was well worth it. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who is only planning a short stay in Avignon.

Wonderful All Day Tour

We had such a wonderful time, we got the time we needed at each stop and our bruise even provided one extra place so we could see a beautiful market. We were given so much great historical context but it was balanced too with time for us to wander each stop and make of it what we wanted it to be. Highly recommend! We loved it so much and got to see so many wonderful spots we never would have had time to see otherwise.

Great tour of the Beat of Provence

David was the best guide we have had so far. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the area, plants, rocks, architecture, food and wine (food and wine was a bonus.) The number of stops and time spent in each location was perfect. We enjoyed all the towns on the itinerary. We had the flexibility to see each area at our own pace, including where to eat and buy drinks. The van was very comfortable. David's outgoing personality and experience in world travel made the trip extra special.

Provence At It’s Best!!!

Avignon and Provence are amazingly picturesque with some of the most unique scenery in all of Europe. Our guide Terri (sorry if misspelled) was quite knowledgeable and informative. The highlight of the day was seeing Ponte du Gare.

Disappointing

We had hoped for an informative drive to the top Provençal villages and instead got an expensive taxi/van ride. Our guide shared very little information on the drive between villages, and gave only vague directions as to what to do at each site. It was very disappointing. We recognize that the guide does not hold the group’s hand at each location on a trip like this, but we expected some amount of information in between stops.

Great introduction to South of Provence with Therry

We had a great day with our guide and driver Therry who was really kind, warm, approachable and knowledgeable. It was like being shown around by a long lost friend. We even got to see a few additional locations thanks to Therry's recommendation. We also stop for lunch with Therry at a lovely bistro ast Saint Remy run by a cute couple that was delicious! We highly recommend the tour and anyone would be so lucky if they were guided by Therry. 5 stars!!

A lovely visit through many towns and places. A real pity that our driver could provide next to little information about the places we visited. He chatted to the people in the front row but the rest of us got nothing. I had to even ask twice on the tour as we got out, where are we? A pleasant day with lovely sights but very little information about what we were looking at. A real disappointment.

Every place was great, Roussillon et Saint Remy de Provence exceptional. Abbey de Semanque magnificent and Pont du Gard is still the most amazing construction. Perhaps the tour was a bit long but not to be missed

We took this tour on a crisp beautiful March day. The four of us had Nicholas to ourselves. He was an exceptional and engaging guide, and a licensed sommelier (wine expert). The tour was the highlight of out 10 day trip through France. Our two young adult children were enthralled by the beauty and conversation. Memories for a lifetime. Worth every cent!!
