Your full-day, small-group tour starts with morning pickup from Avignon. As you head out of town, admire the rare beauty of the sun cresting over endless fields of lavender in full bloom. Your first stop is one of Provence’s postcard-worthy villages.
Depending on the blooms, you’ll disembark in Sault or Roussillon for some free time to explore. Wander narrow cobblestone streets and shop for heavenly lavender soaps, sachets, oils and honey. Visit an open-air market selling a colorful bounty of local produce. Put together a delicious self-catered lunch at the market or pop into a rustic café for a bite (own expense).
After lunch, hop back in the vehicle for a scenic westbound drive, passing the Provençal villages of St Jean and Lioux en route to Gordes, one of France’s most gorgeous towns. Witness the simple beauty of the architecture which – under strict regulation – is composed almost exclusively of white stone with terra-cotta roofs. Then head to the Sénanque Abbey – situated in the middle of an sea of lavender – to take some great photos.

Dishonest sales and opportunistic information. Skipped one of the schedule of the list and threw all responsibilities away instead of checking Viator themselves for not double confirming the progress of the itinerary update.
Viator said the reason of skipping the schedule was due to flowering stage while they didn’t show on the description when it will be changed for travels’s reference. How can we travelers’ predict it by ourselves?
Unacceptable attitude when they dealt this problem. If traveler wants to have same trip, be aware that you won’t have the tour you expect because Viator doesn’t provide detailed and correct information and care not. Actually, go to another platforms. One of my members on the tour used another platform, receiving correct information and fair and lower price. Also, same experience as us. Unlike Viator, still charged you the same, higher price.
Won’t recommend anyone to use viator at all.

Great tour, was able to visit few beautiful villages and most importantly, lavender fields! Our guide Solene was great, very friendly and able to speak good English, she is also knowledgeable, show us different lavender secret spots without other ppl that we can take great photo

I enjoyed this tour very much. It was good starting the trip with some information about Lavender. Lavender field was very nice. Roussillon was impressive. I really wanted to spend more time here. Gordes was very nice. Tour leader was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Overall this trip was great.

Loved this tour!! Brigitte and her assistant were absolutely fantastic. The lavender was gorgeous and we never felt rushed at any of our stops....all the towns were gorgeous. Highly recommend!!

I loved this tour! The lavender was so beautiful. Our tour guide Brigitte was very knowledgeable and friendly. I went the first week for July and the timing was perfect. It was an all day tour, so there were stops at villages where we could roam around, go to the market, grab lunch, etc.
