So much to see and do in Pattaya but Jackie our tour guide made it all feel effortless. Beauty all around from Coral Island to magnificent mountain views and unique one in the world temples! Would advice all to take this tour.

This was a great tour and Nattie was an amazing tour host, everything we did on this tour was great and we had a great mix of tourists on the tour and got to bond with each other. Excellent photo opportunities and adventure to be had on this day trip. . I highly recommend this trip and Nattie is the best , thank you Viator.

The universal human appeal of decency and truth

The Sanctuary of Truth was spiritually rewarding experience, without bias to any religion, just to a person for more positive roles in society. Few places are so universally acceptable and timelessness in their message. The messages are universal and even if the prominent persons highlighted for praise are all from Asia, no one can blame the effect of personal exposure but all the selected eminent souls are worth of the honour given to them The construction of the whole structure in intensively carved timber is itself a message: trust in what is perceived as perishable but in fact can serve eternally. The detail in construction encourages devotion and care.

Nok was a really nice tour guide and I was so grateful she waited on me while I was running behind and even came and got Me when I was lost. The tour is jam packed with lots to do so make sure you’re prepared. Also the boat ride to the island is very choppy feel free to take some motion sickness pills if need be. A nice tour overall

Amazing temple and beach day

Make sure to eat a big breakfast beforehand and bring snacks because you don’t eat lunch until around 12:30 on the island. Took about 2 hours to get to the temple from Bangkok and we took a bathroom break after the first hour and stopped at a convenience store beforehand for snacks. The temple tour was incredible! Full of tourists though and has a little construction going on and it’s super hot! About an hour and a half. It’s hindu and isn’t as strict on clothing. They allowed shawls and knees showing. We had maybe 2.5 hours at the beach. Enough time to eat lunch and go on the snorkel activity. Lunch prices were decent and we paid 100 bhat for a chair and shade with bathrooms included. The tour doesn’t give water, lunch, or snacks so bring lots of cash. Snorkeling was 600bhat for as long as you want. A boat picks you up and picks up any others along the beach and takes you to the end of the beach where the coral is so it takes some time going there and back. The visibility and fish wasn’t nearly as good at phi phi islands but still decent snorkeling! At the end we went to the viewpoint for 10min and then the bathroom anout an hour into the drive back again. Got home around 7pm. Lots of traffic to get to hotels on the way back. Great day overall. Pop was a decent guide. He did a good job keeping us together!

Sanctuary of truth and view of pattaya city. Jackie and the driver were good. It was the heat and staying too long on beach is reason I have 4 stars. We were roasted and bored since did not participate in any water activity due to heat. I think just 1-2 hours would have been suffice, would rather spend an hour strolling in the city. We just passed by the city and stopped at top for view and pictures. We did go to a shop to buy some souvenirs so that was a plus. Sanctuary of truth museum was very good. I would recommend this tour but check the weather first ( which I did not)

This trip was absolutely fantastic. Honestly, it could be sold as a VIP experience considering how well we were treated and looked after by our guide Cherry, and our driver. The journey from Bangkok to Pattaya was quicker than expected (approx 1h45) in a very comfortable private vehicle - just myself, my girlfriend, Cherry and the driver. We were at The Sanctuary Of Truth for around 60 mins in total, with Cherry making all the necessary arrangements for us to enter, experience the English language tour, and be picked up by our driver the moment we were ready to leave. Seamless! We then had a short (10 min?) drive to the pier, where Cherry once again made all the arrangements with the local speedboat company to take us over to Ko Lan (20 min on the boat) for the afternoon (approx 11.30am - 3pm). Ko Lan is beautiful, and such a bonus if you only have one day to play with for an island trip from Bangkok. And essentially being chaperoned door-to-door with such knowledgeable and friendly locals made the whole experience so much more straight forward. Cherry kept us updated as the afternoon went on with regards to timings of our return boat trip. We were then met by our driver at Pattaya Pier, got straight into the car, made a short visit to the viewpoint overlooking the city & beach (5 min drive, 15 mins there) and made our way back to Bangkok. We were back at our hotel before 7pm, after having had the most incredible day. Fully, fully recommend.

Fun trip out of Bangkok

I really enjoyed this tour, as the Sanctuary of Truth has to be one of the top 3 temples I have seen. The craftsmanship on display there is extraordinary. The view of the city from up high was a picturesque shot. And the 3 hours we spent relaxing on the beach and eating food was a great change of pace from the city feel of Bangkok. Kul was a great guide who always kept us on track and if we wanted to spend more or less time doing things he was happy to accommodate.

A nice day out at Coral Island

Overall trip was nice. Coverage of the trip is good. We loved the museum, the Significance of Truth. The lady who explained the different sculptures and the corresponding meaning, and relating to the lives of the people is really good. Coral island is undoubtedly great, this is the second time we visited Coral island and we enjoyed to the fullest. Interesting part was the ride specially from Coral island to Pattaya mainland while returning. The ride was quite choppy because of the heavy winds but we enjoyed it. Lastly, Paichong, our guide is a nice person. Only point is that, it would have been better if we could get a pick-up directly from our hotel. While, I understand, it is not within the designated zone, but I was staying at JC Kevin, Sathorn which is near only.

Skip the beach, go for the Sanctuary.

Mixed feelings on this one. Nancy was a knowledgeable and experienced guide, but if you are looking for deep knowledge or info about the sites on the itinerary, we didn’t get that. The beach was incredibly crowded and getting to the island was very hectic. I would skip the beach tour. See if you can do just ‘Sanctuary of truth’ - a truly amazing place.
