    Do not use Viator - Buyer Beware

    Buyer Beware. Purchased tickets with Viator, showed up for tour and they had no record of our purchase or tickets. Our confirmation number and email meant nothing. Tour was full so we were turned away. A refund will not make up for the missed opportunity and disappointed family. Time on vacation is precious and we wasted a night getting to the tour destination only to turn around.

    This was such a cool experience! We got lucky and saw ~6 manta rays, the biggest of which had a 13ft wingspan. They got really close and put on quite a show. Very special to see these magnificent creatures. I would recommend booking this for early in your vacation so that if you don't see any manta rays, they can reschedule you (for free) on a later trip.

    This experience shouldn’t be missed. Would recommend Dramamine or such as it made me a little seasick and it ruined it for another gal who was very sick. This surprised me as I usually don’t feel this way in the I ocean. The planton were plentiful!

    This was a super fun experience with a small boat and small group. We had 3-4 manta rays all to our small group around a single board so everyone had a great up close experience.

    CAPT Landon and Ryan were amazing! I was so nervous taking my 3 kids but everything went well and it was an amazing experience that the kids (and us adults) are raving about!! Definitely a must do for a trip to the big island and Landon and Ryan made it so much fun; the kids loved the bumpy boat ride!!

    Amazing and a must do. Chase and Kelly were awesome. It is a speed boat with only 14 people. Avoid the crowds. Chase and Keely were patient and knowledgeable and made sure we saw the magnificent Manta Rays even if we had to wait for 20 mins for them to show up: no rush or hurry. And what an amazing experience when the Mantas eventually showed up. Right near your face. One of them even brushed it’s fine against my face. Just thrilling and once in a lifetime experience

    Chase and Kelly are great. We had a group of 8, 4 kids (10-13 year olds) and 4 adults. The ride out was exciting and fun. We saw at least a dozen manta rays. We stayed out for an hour in the water. We were away from all of the other boats which was nice. It was like having a private manta ray show. Those who wanted to stay on the boat could. We were not rushed. The ride back under the stars was a great way to end the trip. It was an amazing experience.

    Chase and Ryan were amazing. We saw so many manta rays that you couldn’t see the bottom of the ocean. We did a lot on this trip from Dolphin Quest to Zip Lining all were great but this by far was the BEST. We loved the smaller group!

    We had an amazing snorkel experience last night! We had a crazy boat ride out and back- flying through the ocean at sunset, riding back under the stars while Spinner took song requests from the kids. Everyone was singing and dancing, playing air guitar on pool noodles. The manta experience was out of this world. They took us away from the other boats and we had more mantas than I could count under our surfboard. Incredible! This is the epitome of an adventure and their description of it is spot on.

    Spinner and Chase are the BEST! Would not go on any other boat. They made the experience fun, exciting, adventurous, personal, and unforgettable!! Our teenagers 15, 17, 19 enjoyed it so much and so did we. Would definitely recommend this tour, but especially with these two very experienced guides. They put the FUN in FUNtastic😎

    So i think the reviews cover this but just so clear, Ryan and Chase the hosts, take you to the bay on a rib and they play loud music and have fun getting there and back. We loved this and have paid 40 dollars just for the rib ride alone. As it was we saw two mantas and so the whole trip was a success. As they say themselves, the trip out to site is not for the faint hearted but half the fun. 😀
