We offer validated parking at the Courtyard Marriott King Kamehameha Hotel for up to 5.5 hours for a nominal fee. Please bring your parking ticket with you to check-in. (Fee is under Exclusion)
PLEASE NOTE that trip start times VARY throughout the year to accommodate for the time changes of the setting sun.

Captain Tanner and his delightful crew did an outstanding job. Despite a bit of rain- we enjoyed a gorgeous sunset, an up close and personal manta(s) encounter, great music and an all around excellent experience.

The crew was warm and welcoming, and their attention to safety and assuaging anxieties about being in the water at night commendable. Protocols for getting in and out of the water were clearly explained and professionally executed, demonstrating their experience in this venture. While it was a busy night in Manta Village, our crew managed jostling for a spot well such that we could just focus on viewing those spectacular animals. The hot chocolate and cookies were a great reward for our “bravery” and the star gazing on the way back a bonus. Can’t say enough about this tour and company - bonus marks for having a token Canadian on crew to hang out with!

We are an older couple (62,72) and were struck by the care and consideration we were given on the tour. We told our guide that one of us had to take out hearing aids and they immediately notified the other in water guides. They respectfully watched us on stairs, moving on the boat. I felt cared for but not babied. Wonderful event.

If you want to be taken out on an amazing romantic sunset boat ride AND get to see manta rays inches away from your face this is the boat you want! Crew were professional and super on it, very good at what they do and care about the wildlife. Fun boat ride back as well with good music and a nice view of the island at night. Great tour!

We were really grateful that we booked this trip with the sunset cruise. We had a lovely sail down the coast as we watched the sun set over the ocean before hopping into the water with the manta rays. The crew really knew what they were doing and so we felt incredibly safe and supported. We will definitely use Kona Style again for our next excursion.

We went in January so the water was on the rougher side. They even had to cancel and move our scheduled day. I really appreciated their attention to our safety in that! The whole experience was professional and friendly and you feel well taken care of. Swimming with the manta rays was so amazing. They are truly beautiful creatures and they get so close! Our youngest snorkeler was 9 and it was just fine for her 😊

Boat was huge and spacious, provided drinks and snacks. Crew was great and attentive!! Especially Mara. Must do adventure if you are going to Kona! We got lucky with weather and it was a perfect night and saw dozens of manta! One of the coolest experiences. Absolutley worth the money. Highly recommend. 13/10! Ps. There were some really small boats with tour trips, like 15 people crammed into a small boat. I would avoid that at all cost. I have a tendency to get sea sick and had no problems in the large boat this tour guide provided.

It was an amazing experience with great educated staff from Kona Style! We loved being in the water with the Manta Ray! Within 5 minutes of entering the water one was within inches from our faces! This experience was just the right amount of time for our group!

What a treat! So awe inspiring to be able to experience this. The Manta Rays are graceful and beautiful. There were 4 or 5 that swam under us numerous times. They would sweep around in circles, coming right under our chins and noses. At one point, I was looking to the left and a large Manta bumped me from the right as if to tell me to pay attention! Such great beauties. The KonaStyle staff was amazing! They thought of every detail and took excellent care of us from start to finish. I don't know how they did it, but we enjoyed a beautiful rainbow on the way. I highly recommend this trip. Its one for the memory books!

My husband and I had a great time on our tour with Kona Style. The crew was friendly, fun, and knowledgeable. They shared a wealth of knowledge about manta rays and made sure everyone felt safe, secure, and had a good time. I'm not a pro at snorkeling - in fact, it was only my second time really ever using snorkel equipment - but the crew was great at helping folks like me. They even have good grace when dealing with someone like me that gets unexpectedly seasick. They were kind and caring and made sure I was all right. I was fine - it was mostly my pride that was a little dented. All told, we'd go out again with Kona Style! One note for other travelers - parking is an adventure of its own in this area of Ali'i Drive. The parking lot at the King Kamehameha was closed to non-hotel guests due to Ironman festivities, so we had to find an alternative a ways away. There is limited free street parking/lots in the area, so you might end up forking over quite a bit at one of the pay lots. Consider public transit or Uber/Lyft as an alternative!

What an experience! The crew was great and very friendly. The sunset boat ride was gorgeous . We even saw dolphins ! The manta experience was everything! We saw mantas within the first 5 min of being in the water, and they were so close! The crew covers all equipment and on the ride back to shore we were offered tea or hot chocolate and snacks! Music was playing . What a night!

Awesome adventure! This is right off the cruise port which we needed! The captain and crew worked so hard to allow us to see manta rays....and we did! The ride in and out was with a lovely sunset and other wildlife! Well worth it!!!
