Overview

Enjoy a full day out exploring both the highlights of the Blue Mountains, the Featherdale Wildlife sanctuary, and finishing with a river cruise ending at the Opera House. Some of the sights you’ll see in the Blue Mountains are the Grand Canyon, The 3 Sisters, Echo Point, and Kootomba Falls (plus more). You’ll see koalas and kangaroos at the sanctuary, and the iconic boat ride to finish the day.

Our tour guide, Darren, was amazing. He was so informative not just about the sites we visited but a lot of Australia’s history. He was also very flexible and took us wherever we wanted on our own time. The sights of the blue mountains, three sisters, waterfalls and scenic view were breathtaking. He even took us down to the cascades at bottom of the waterfalls and it was so serene. The highlight of our day was at the featherdale wildlife park where we go to pet a koala and feed a kangaroo.

Our best day in Sydney.

A private tour with Dave to the mountains must be the first choice of things to do in Sydney. He is so experienced and knowledgeable. He adapted the day to suit the abilities and intetests of our group of friends. Loved his genuine friendliness. It’s a complete day of sights in the Blue mountains Dave is extremely patient with all our individual requests with some wanting walks and others wanting time in the village, nothing was too much trouble. The mountain Grand Canyon is a wonder of nature. Thank you SO much.

My family found the private tour so enjoyable, every moment will be unforgettable. So many activities in the one day, even lunch at the Yello Deli was an experience. Customer setvice, timely stops, history given, the animal park and brilliant scenic places. It’s a high quality journey with a most accomplished guide.

There were so many Blue mountains tours to choose, based on all the nice reviews we chose Dave. He sure lived up to his reputation, the day was faultless and we saw so much. Really enjoyed the Boardwalk and understanding the flora and fauna. Also the Scenic world rides are so worth it to do , even at $60 per person, they are most unique. Of course the scenery, eventhough a bit cloudy was gorgeous. Safe driving, thank you sir.

This was an awesome tour!! Highly recommend this private tour. Our driver David was awesome!! He know just where to take us to avoid the crowds from other bus tours. Having a private driving taking us was the best! He was very informative of each stop we made and told us a lot as we passed highlights of the city and towns along the way. He helped one of us overcome her fear of heights and got her to take the tram even though she could have drove over with him. She did not regret it! The blue mountains are just breathtaking! We love the wildlife park! Seeing the Koalas and Pademelons and all the birds! And the nice smooth relaxing River cruise back to our stop. This was an awesome tour!

Featherdale Wildlife park and Blue Mountains were the most memorable visits. Really enjoyed getting up close with the Austrilian animals. The beauty of the Blue Mountains was amazing.

The Featherdale Sancuary was amazing. We had horrible weather for viewing the Blue Mountains, but Michael did his best to give us a good experience. We were able to get a glimpse of the view on the way back to Sydney.

The Blue Mountains are beautiful. Many waterfalls and great hiking options. The Wildlife Park is cute. Many koalas! And the ferry ride goes past some amazing properties.

My family of 4 (including kids ages 13 and 14) had a great day in the Blue Mountains with our guide Dave. He is an excellent ambassador not only for the Blue Mountains, but also for Australia overall! We learned and saw so much more than we would have on our own. Great way to see the Blue mountains and AU wildlife

This was a really good overview of several places in the blue mountains, I had been there 5 years before, and this covered many items I had not seen. The Scenic world 'rides' are not amusement park items, but cablecar/train/lift rides that allow you to see the area much better - well worth it. The Featerdale wildlife park is also great, and not to be missed to hand feed Wallabys and small Kangaroos. Great tour - great guide locally from the area, gave us a lot of information going and coming from Sydney to the Blue Mountains, ride never felt long.... Boat ride back was a nice final touch on the day. (one note- the small group is about 30 people, but worked well on our trip, even though it was more than I expected)

Loved our tour with David! The variety of stops made it really interesting, and added extras due to one of the stops being inaccessible. David had us in stitches all day, and is also super knowledgable which means you get so much out of the tour. Only minor issues, one being the lunch wasn’t very good if you prepaid. We were given a small selection and would have been good to have been sent this in advance so we could decide if we wanted to do it or buy separately. I’d. also have a bit more time factored in for the animal sanctuary, but this might just be me wanting to feed kangaroos all day! All in all fantastic day with a class tour guide! Thanks xxx

This is a fantastic way to see the best the Blue Mountains and the surrounding area has to offer. David is a lovely friendly guide with lots of information. Some may say there isn't enough time to spend at each place on the tour but my group and I were very satisfied with all of the stops and the great sights we were able to see. I strongly recommend this to anyone staying in Sydney!!

We got very unlucky with the weather so we were unable to see anything although our guide, Dave, tried his best to make us see something. He did the best he could but could not do miracles. It was too foggy to see the 3 sisters and too rainy to walk. He was a great guide providing a lot of info and making jokes at the same time. I would recommend buying this tour, just make sure you check the weather forecast before you go :)

Pete our guide was friendly, organized and full of interesting information. It was a wonderful day of sightseeing. The only negative was the minibus. Some of the seats are very uncomfortable because the wheels protrude into the seats' legroom. A more modern and comfortable vehicle would make the trip better.

Our tour guide was great and well informed. I enjoyed the trip so much.. My husband and I had a great time. The views are beautiful. Our tour guide knows what is the best spot when riding the cable car. The recommended restaurant was good. we had fun going in to the candy store in town. the boat ride coming back was wonderful.

David was a terrific tour guide with lots of information on the sites and Australian history. The tour bus was older and not the most comfortable, especially for the seats directly behind the driver. Overall, it's a good tour. You simply want/need more time at the sites. Another 30-60 minutes at Featherdale and a few hours at Scenic World.
