Not bad but also not quite what I expected

There was noone at Akademia Sock 1 when we came on time. Neighbouring dock had a person who said that she knows about this boat but does not know when and if it will arrive at all. She pointed us to dock 3 to check if the ship is there. We checked and returned and she could not remember us. Almost felt like a scam. Luckily the boat arrived but 10 minutes too late and leaving most people wondering what happened at all. The cruise itself was fine and the staff was pleasant. The ship however is best if you stay on lower deck. Extremely windy and unpleasant upstairs and you can easily end up with stiff neck. Harder to take pictures at the lower deck though because all windows are closed so decide for yourself where to go. At the end it was not very bad but the initial organization and cheap feeling all around left somewhat mixed feelings and I would probably use a different provider next time.
Landmarks beauty at night

When the sun set, the landmarks were lit up beautifully. There was some confusion at the meet up before the trip. We were supposed to have been met by the representative 10-15 mins beforehand at Akademia 1 pontoon but he did not turn up. We therefore made our way to the departure pontoon Akadiemia 2 and was told we could not board until the representative had arrived. The rep eventually turned up but did not offer his apologies for his late arrival. The cruise was lovely. The audio was clear and informative.

Crew was great and boat was nice and warm. The length of 1h trip is more than enough to go by all the major points on the river. Get the option with the drinks included :)

The good: Seeing the architecture on the banks of the Danube lit up at night. The not-so-good: The promised drinks tokens didn’t transpire - I had to request this at the bar. There were no safety instructions prior to setting off. The frankly ridiculous way that 3 boats were all tied together at the end, with all passengers squeezing their way out of one exit was very poorly handled.

Dear Adam! It is written on your online ticket that you need to check-in before the travel and our colleague will give you the drink tokens before the program. So you haven't checked in that's why you didn't get them. But our bartenders were kind and flexible and gave you your free drinks when you asked them! In Budapest we have the law that 3 ships can be tied to one pier. It is legal. Also it is a must to have visible safety instructions on every ship on the Danube. We have it too, in front of our Bar. Please next time ask somebody from the crew if you are searching for it! When we arrived yes, at the same time came back another big ship from their dinner cruise program, that's why we could just slowly leave the port. Sorry for the inconvience but on busy saturday nights it can happen!

Rude staff. We had 3 drinks tokens and after the first drink was servered staff disappeared downstairs. When we finally got the attention of a staff member we got attitude for asking for another drink. We left behind vouchers. Also the audio was no turned on until half way through the trip so therefore was out of sync. The boat was also incredibly hot. Not a great experience
