For cruise ship passengers: As you walk from the tender pier through the pier security gate, turn right on the red sidewalk that borders the harbor. The Gali Plaza will be on your left, the water on your right. Walk approximately 20 yards to the Cruise Terminal building. The building will be on your left and has a sign saying API in blue letters. Enter the terminal building and walk to the far side where you will exit onto a parking lot. At the parking lot exit, you will see an Oxxo convenience store. Your guide will be waiting in front of the store. Exact location: PLAZA GALI, Parking Lot (Oxxo) Blvd. Paseo de la Marina 36, Centro, Marina, 23450 Cabo San Lucas, B.C.S. If you are driving yourself: The meeting point is at the Plaza Gali parking lot, which is located right in front of the Sandos Finisterra Hotel. We will meet you in front of the OXXO convenience store which is located at the exit of the parking lot. Exact location: PLAZA GALI, Parking Lot (OxxO) Blvd. Paseo de la Marina 36, Centro, Marina, 23450 Cabo San Lucas, B.C.S. If you choose our complimentary transport service: Our round trip transportation covers hotels in San Jose del Cabo, the corridor, and the Cabo San Lucas tourist area. Pick up is approximately one hour before the start of your tour. Upon booking, you can specify your exact hotel. Please contact us to confirm your specific time of pick up one day before your scheduled tour. We do not offer transportation from hotels outside of the tourist area, such as Hard Rock, Nobu, or Four Seasons (these are approx. 50 min. away from the tourist area); for those hotels, we will pick you up at our standard meeting point: PLAZA GALI, Blvd. Paseo de la Marina 36, Centro, Marina, 23450 Cabo San Lucas, B.C.S., Mexico.

What To Expect

Meet your driver at your Los Cabos hotel or cruise ship pier and begin your oceanic odyssey to Medano Beach. The beach is an ideal vantage point to gaze at the iconic El Arco (The Arch), a rugged collection of jagged rocks that protrude dramatically from the calm ocean.

Sink your toes into the silken sands of the beach and listen to an informative safety talk from your experienced guide. Once you’ve grasped basic paddling techniques, don your life jacket and snorkeling gear and set sail in your glass-bottomed kayak.

Follow your guide as you maneuver Land’s End, the blissful bay where many of Los Cabos’ legendary landmarks reside. Admire pelicans and diverse sea birds as they soar past, not forgetting to gaze through the transparent boat bottom at shimmering schools of exotic fish. Keep your eye out for the manta rays and sea turtles that also inhabit the waters and paddle past the colony of sea lions lying languidly upon the sun-drenched rocks.

Gain insight into local ecology and geology as you cruise past El Arco to the secluded Playa del Amor, a romantic and remote beach accessible only by water. Enjoy dramatic vistas of sea-sculpted boulders as you sail past the landmark.

Arrive at Pelican’s Rock and dock your kayak in order to immerse yourself in the beautiful waters of the bay. Slip on your snorkeling gear and set off in search of lobsters, angelfish, puffers, and schools of stingrays.

Return to your kayak and paddle around the picturesque Playa del Amor and enjoy a light snack. Absorb the tranquil atmosphere before sliding back into your kayak for the return journey to Medano Beach to board your minivan and venture back to your hotel or cruise ship port in comfort.

Please bring a beach towel, sandals, a hat, sunscreen and a camera.
We do not use boats, all our water activities start from the beach.
Prices are the same for both children and adults.
Participants must be at least 6 years old. Max. weight on tandem kayaks is 195kg/425lbs.

We recommend the 9 am schedule as in the mornings there is less wind and fewer waves, so the conditions are usually more favorable.
Our activities take place on the beach and there are no locker facilities, however, you can safely leave your personal belongings in the transportation.
The activity lasts 3 hours including round-trip transportation.
All transfers are complementary and optional, therefore the price doesn’t change if you don’t use the transfer option.
Pick-up times are assigned based on the location of your hotel or place of accommodation. Pick-ups start approximately one and a half hours before the scheduled activity time.
As we know, the weather is a factor that can lead us to modify our day. Sometimes we will have to change location, re-schedule, and cancel (the refund will be issued 100% in case of cancellation by us). You will be informed of the options, and you will make the decision. Factors that could influence this are rain, high swell, wind, and jellyfish.
Unfortunately we cannot control the wind. In the event that strong winds prevent us from getting to the Arch we will spend more time snorkeling to make sure the adventure continues. We will not issue partial refunds.
Your safety is our priority. When the conditions are not favorable, due to wind, high waves, or a tropical storm, we offer to change the day of your reservation or make a refund.
For a full refund, you must cancel at least 48 hours in advance of the start date of the experience. No show or last minute cancellation will be charged in full. This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

It was a great way to start our trip. Carlos, the main guide was excellent! He answered all the questions quickly and really knew the area. Even though the waves were a bit choppy we made to the arch with no problem. The snorkel area is excellent there the was a sea lion interacting with people! Carlos, fed and guided the fish right to where we were.

Fantastic guide and time on the water

Our guide was fantastic. From the moment he picked us up at the hotel til he dropped us off, his personality and customer service was outstanding. Because we were able to kayak pretty quickly out to the Arch (while learning lots from our guide along the way), we had lots more time at Pelican Point to snorkel and enjoy time on the beach - which was priceless. I ended up having a Sea Lion come along and play with me while I was snorkeling which made for some great video. Would absolutely recommend this excursion for people of all ages!!

Exceeded Our Expectations!

We booked this excursion for our day in port in Cabo while on a cruise. Our tour guide Emellio was excellent. He was very personable, shared some funny stories with us, and knew the Los Arcos area waters very well. He also managed to take some amazing photos of us kayaking, He really added another level of fun to this event. We highly recommend him for this excursion especially for couples as my wife & I shared a 2-person kayak. Once in Cabo, it was pretty easy to locate the meeting place. Everything went smoothly and left us with some great videos and pix. We also got a pretty decent workout.

Kayaking and Boulders

The Kayaking was great but when it came to snorkeling, the add says 'wade into the water' and go snorkeling but there were too many boats and people on the one small beach we ended up docking the kayak's on a bunch of slippery boulders, with the waves pounding and trying not to get something broken. Most of the group went snorkeling closer to the beach and said there were quite a few fish. Michael was a great guide and took all the couples pictures in front of the arch, with your own phone or camera.

However, we want to assure you that the snorkeling activity takes place in a designated section where boats do not enter.
