Certified divers can experience the vivid colors of the Mexican Caribbean on this 2-tank scuba package, including all necessary equipment (wetsuits are available to rent if required). Swim between the coral-covered statues of the Cancun Underwater Museum of Art (MUSA) amid fish, elkhorn coral and maybe even turtles. For your second dive, visit a nearby reef to discover more marine life. Package excludes reef preservation fees.

Beautiful Dive Sites!

Both dive sites were beautiful! We started at Aquaworld and it was about a 40 minute boat ride to the dive site. The water was beautiful and warm. We opted to not wear a wetsuit because the water was about 80 degrees. Our dive leader for our group was Jesus. We saw lots of beautiful coral and fish, a couple of barracuda, a large silver tipped ray, puffer fish, and Jesus found a couple of sea stars for us to look at. This was an amazing dive, my sister and I loved it!

Go to a smaller dive shop with a safer more intimate experience

While I was grouped with certified divers, the boat was a mix of new divers and snorkelers. This is a major dive operation with many dive instructors and divers. The bad: - We weren't really told how the dives would go or end. Our guide kinda just popped up and had us surface in unmarked areas of open ocean with lots of boat traffic. No dive markers or flags to alert boats. - Our own dive boat almost hit me and other divers while coming to pick us up.

Excellent diving and MUSA and a beautiful coral reef. Saw lots of sea life and the guides were knowledgeable and great! Would go with aqua world again!

It's been years since I have dived but the staff was great. They did a review with me at my request. We had a small group of 4 and the dive master stayed close for the first dive. Great experience!

The dive itself was cancelled, but I was not informed of this until I arrived at the meetup location (which required taxi fare I otherwise could have saved). I am currently awaiting a refund for 89USD due to this development.

MUSA dive excursion

The trip was operated by Aqua World and the crew did an amazing job of organizing the divers. The equipments were good and the boat was clean. They kept the ratio low between the dive master and divers to insure everybody's safety. The company has enough crew members to switch tanks quickly between the first dive and the second dive. I highly recommend to rent a wet suit because we had bottom time close to an hour for each dive due to shallowness of the dives. Overall, I highly recommend Aqua World because they are a large company that use to operate in high capacity level to insure everybody's safety and have a fun time.

This was a fun dive on a quality diving boat. The boat was well-equipped. There were five instructors on board who were all very knowledgeable and friendly. There were about 15-20 divers on board. They took us out in groups of 4-5 and it was very well organized. They even insisted on helping us with our gear and swapping out cylinders. I would definitely do another trip with these guys!

Our dive trip was good and the dive crew was very helpful. What ruined the place for me was the fact that they charge $70 for digital copies of the photos taken or $50 for 3 printed photos. We then saw an advertisement on their screen offering a free print with the purchase of the digital package. When we asked for our free print we were told it was only for the jungle tour excursion......even tho the add did not mention it.
