Tourist Trap Alert!! Bus AC doesn’t work

This company has a fake Mayan Village where they do everything to rip you off. Terrible lunch, overpriced vendors so you hit them before you get a chance to shop with the better vendors and stores at Valladolid and at the Pyramid. Then because they waste your time at this fake Mayan Village, they rush you through the places you want to see

(also, not mandatory to buy if not intertested).. We are four English-speaking Asian girls, we do not speak any Spanish. The Chichen Itza, two cenotes itself are very beautiful spots, but the entire travel arrangement experience was absolutely terrible. Firstly, We got picked up at 7am, we were directly sent to a Mexican Outlet to “check in”, they gave you coupons to shop, it was almost like a forced shopping experience at the start of the day. Secondly, for some reason they did not ask us what language we speak or prefer (we bought the English tour on Viator), the staff just wrote “China” behind our names and put us in a full coach of Latino passengers and the entire tour was only in Spanish. There were a male and a female tour guide, the girl was nice to us when we ask her questions she would answer. However, the male tour guide was EXTREMELY RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL to us. At some moments during the three hours ride, we fell asleep, took a nap, which I believe is incredibly reasonable. But the tour guide got angry at us and saying we do not listen to him, but he was not delivering a bilingual speech, it was 99% of the time Spanish. When we got off the coach, asked him to give us a brief explanation of chichen itza related information, he refused to tell us, saying because we fell asleep in our first ride, so there’s no reason to say things in English, yet, we were all awake for the whole remaining ride and was confused by only Spanish speaking explanations he was giving. Thirdly, we spent over 13 hours on this trip, but only 40 minute in the Suytun Cenote, 1 hour in Chichen Itza, 30 minutes in the Ik kil Cenote, 15 minute in the Valldolid town. Why? Because he tried to sell us some “magic stones” on the coach like the image attached (and that was the time he would mention some English words), and he also took us to some “Shaman ceremony” that was not included in the itinerary and forced us to stay in a shop that sells artifacts and chocolate for an hour before lunch. It’s in the middle of nowhere, we literally cannot go anywhere else. It was very uncomfortable. Fourthly, the whole tour group were a little 5-15 minutes behind schedule at all four destinations. We were 10 minutes late to return to the bus at Chichen Itza because we had to use our own English guide and find our ways back to the bus. Three of us got a little lost on the way, but still managed to get back. One of us was already with the tour guide, but the tour guide literally just left the three of us at Chichen Itza and drove away, regardless one of us told the guide we are coming. The tour guide was EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND CONDESCENDING, he did not put into any effort into helping us get back, and literally LEAD THE WHOLE COACH to “boo” us when we got back (wt*??) We are only four tourists in a foreign country, it was not what we signed up for. What’s more, even though we told him we speak fluent English, we live in New York. He still used his microphone on the coach whenever we reach a new place “Time to get up China ladies” and just called us “China” the whole time. We found it very rude and racist. In general, we suggest you DEFINITELY go visit Chichen Itza and the cenotes, BUT DO NOT GO WITH THIS TRIP!!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID

The day of the tour we did receive a notification about 4 of our guests missing the information in english due to taking a nap on the way to the first attraction, we recommended to approach the guide to request that the information be provided once more in English as it is important that all visitors are informed of the meeting point and times to carry on with the tour. We didn't hear about all these complaint until now... so there was not possible to take action at the moment of the incident. We will follow up with our tour supplier and make the necessary adjustments to settle your claims and a corresponding ammonestation to the guide in charge of the tour.. As compensation, please use this code to claim a complimentary roundtrip transfer from Cancun airport to any hotel in the hotel zone on your next visit. Misleading tour description

The only reason I chose this tour is to visit Cenote Suytun. I was very disappointed this tour actually took us to Cenote hubiku instead of Cenote Suytun. It totally wasted our time to visit the place we don’t like. And Viator refused to refund the partial of the payment because of their misleading tour description.

Best experience at Chichen Itza

We had the best experience with this tour. Jorge is very knowledgeable and it was very interesting to listen the Mayan culture from him while we were on our way to Chichen Itza. We were even blessed by a Shaman in their Mayan culture which was something we have not experienced so far. Cenotes Suytun and Ik Kil were amazing, unfortunately we could not visit Valladolid as it was already dark outside and raining. Overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend it!

Cultural Trip....Yucatan!

Chichen Itza was the most memorable because of its history and amazing energy. My second highlight was Suytun Cenote, its magical....the other places we visited was worth the drive as well. Jorge is such a jolly and well learned person about his culture....hats off to you and your team bus 38. Hope to see you all another time if i visit Mexico. One critic, water should be given along the way to the Mayan Site and not only at the site, the weather is humid and your guest were in need of water during the trip.

Was worth every cent

I really don’t know why this tour doesn’t have better reviews, because it was amazing! Obviously there will be many other people, you’re not the only one that wants to see one of the seven world wonders. Just be open-minded and get swept away! Be prepared for a long day, but you see so much!! The organization and communication was fantastic, the guides informative and funny, the food was amazing and you always have enough to drink in the bus, which is very clean and air-conditioned. We enjoyed this day very much and can highly recommend this tour!

Terrible way too crowed and late return

Large group not as expected . We end up with 50 plus people on the group. They picked us up at hotel at 720 am but wont take off until 9 am . And returned to hotel zone around 930 pm . However the booking said around 6 pm you will be back. The buffet lunch is totally a scam, you are trapped in the souvenir and a chocolate shop before lunch is ready. We asked whether we can bring luggage to the tour so that we can take our flight after the tour. However the tour operater directly switched us to a larger bus tour with 50 plus people without telling us. Because the bus has more space for luggage.. We paid for a small group but end up with very crowed tour. And we are late for the flight had to take a taxi from Valladolid to cancun to catch our 10 20 pm flight. It is totally not worth it.

We did try to accommodate you when we found out the night before that you needed to bring your luggage to the tour, which is something we usually do not allow.. We could not drop you off at the airport either because the airport is not on the route on the way back.. we are very sorry.. when customers book a tour, they do it because they have the time and the description indicates the return time may vary especially lately due to the repairs on the main roads of Cancún. The content of the tour is the same no matter if you go on a van or bus, we ended up switching you to a bus because of your especial request. to much ‘ tips ‘

good trip , the only problem there is to much tips everywhere , the guide and all the people think we are millionaires, they want tips for everything even the guide in the end of the day he put me in uncomfortable situation like i have to give them tips aswell , in one they tried like 9 times to get tips from us this is just inconfortable as we want to enjoy the experience and what we paid there will be more unexpected things to pay

It was horrible! We had to sit in the back of this little bus, no window that we could see and four people shoulder to shoulder for hours! The tour guide barely spoke English and on the way back, they dropped us in the wrong hotel so I had to pay for a taxi because it was two miles away. Ne careful!

I chose this tour because it’s one of the few ones that included 2 cenotes. Mostly only had 1 and I was not disappointed. I did the Spanish tour with guides Agustin and Safiro and they were so kind and informative! I also liked the fact that there wasn’t surprise extra fees or taxes everything is included! Prepare for a long day but so worth it.

O guia Carlos e sua ajudante, que não me recordo o nome, são muito arrogantes e ríspidos com os turistas. Se não fosse por eles, o passeio seria muito bom. Outra coisa que deixou a desejar, é que a todo tempo eles tentam te vender coisas aleatórias, desde repelente a cristais. Para isso antes contam uma longa história para te convencer. Não caiam nessa.

No respetan el itinerario. No paramos en valladolid, solo dimos una vuelta a la plaza en el bus. Cambiaron el cenote Ik Kil por otro. No nos explicaron nada de los cenotes ni tampoco nos dieron muchas explicaciones en el bus. En chichen Itza si nos dieron una buena explicación. El bus medio sucio. La comida del buffet mala y perdimos mucho tiempo porque nos llevaron a ver artesanías locales
