The tour was great! Alberto and everyone involved was super friendly, the tacos and tequila from all 3 locations were great, and the scenery from Puerto Morelos was beautiful. Would absolutely recommend and would definitely go again

So unorganized

We were really excited for this tour but it fell short. First it started off by our van arriving and the driver not calling us, we asked him “is this for tacos??” And I don’t think he spoke English. Anyway we shared a van with a bachelor party who were all going on a ATV tour and that was confusing because we were the only ones going for tacos. The ride was loud and unpleasant which was not my favourite but also not the companies fault. Once we got there we were taken to the back of the tour companies building and started listening to snorkel instructions….So we’re very confused again. Finally the snorkelers left and there were 4 of us for tacos. We had 3 tacos which were decent, then a lot of tequila which was nice. Then we walked to the next location with Katarina who was very kind, pretty quiet but she did well. The second location was beautiful but a tourist trap as another review said. We were shuffled around to different shops before we got our 2 bite tacos. They were good, handmade taco shells, just small. Walked to the beach and Katarina told us about the town. Third stop was at 4:35 and we were supposed to be back in the bus by 5:30, but there was a big market set up and we wanted to walk around a bit. This is when it gets really crappy… we all ordered fish tacos here. It was supposed to be the gourmet tacos but my husbands was raw. Soon after he realized that one of the women on the tour said her throat hurt, asked us if our throat was scratching and we said no but hoped she was ok! She ran to the bathroom with her friend and we could hear her hacking. I went to check and she has literally coughed out a 2 inch bone from the fish that was lodged in her throat. That could have ended up SO bad. Again we don’t blame the tour for this, but the restaurant. Lastly, we were supposed to be picked up by 5:30. At 5:30 we heard the driver was running late. At 5:37 a driver came and picked up 5 people but not us. FINALLY at 6:15 our driver came. We had a supper reservation for 7 which we definitely missed. So all in all, it was a bummer. It could be a 2 hour tour. Some time walking around would be nice and a lot more organization would be even nicer.

Not What I Expected

Puerto Morelos is a pretty down on a beach with good restaurants and bars, this tour doesn’t take you to any of them. We started the tour in the back patio of the meeting place for many tours. After we listened to the scuba intro and they left we then started our “tour.” This consisted of being served three pre cooked tacos: beef, pork, chicken. We then moved inside to drink chilled tequila which was probably the best. After 1:30 we finally moved on to the next location which was just a tourist trap, you get 2 tacos and the tequila experience here is like any tequila shop give free samples not really needed to pay. After sitting there for 2 hours we moved to the only beach side taco stand and by that time our group just wanted to go get margs and not be tied to the tour. I went on one in Puerto Vallarta that went to small taco shops in town and got a taco and a drink then moved on through like five shops. This is 4 hours for 3 locations it’s a lot of waiting around. Visit the city I’d propbably avoid this tour

Amazing!!!

The tour was amazing! The Tacos were absolutely lovely as was the tequila. We had 5 different types of tequila on our tour which were really nice. Our tour guides were fantastic at their job and had exceptional knowledge of the area, how to make the perfect tequila and Tacos. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who visits, especially if you enjoy Tequila and Tacos

Lengthy Excursion for so little. Not interested in shopping.

Great tacos and a lot of tequila!!!

This taco tour is definitely worth every penny. The first stop offers you 3 different tacos and alot of Tequila. If you like the Palacios Tequila which we loved, you need to buy it there as it is only available locally. The city Tour with Karina was great and very informative. Everyone made you feel welcome. The 2nd stop for more tacos (2 this time and much smaller) and more tequila tastings was good too. Alot of shops and selling and the pricing was very very high. People were nice and not pushy which was appreciated. The 3rd stop was on the water which was awesome and they offered you 2 tacos of only one flavor. The ride there and back can be pretty long depending on where you are staying but for about $55/per person CAD. I would recommend it. The driver was on time and although he grunted at us when we asked where he was going... everything else was great. The tour operator checked in with us a few times and made sure we weren't left behind when we were 20 ft away from the driver that grunted at us... You can't go wrong with this tour...

Nice city tour

It was an interesting tour to Peurto Morelos. One driver dropped us off and I did not tip because I was thinking he was also our return driver and saved the tip for then. Felt bad when I realized this! We ate 3 tacos at the first stop which I thought was it. To our surprise there were 2 other taco stops. It was a lot of food we weren’t expecting. Made a stop where they showed us jewelry and awesome handmade items but we weren’t there to buy things so it was awkward. Others told us not to bring a lot of cash to the tour so we ran out of tip money and it was awkward again. The driver who showed up really late to pick the entire group up, he stopped at 7-11 and we saw some cute wild monkeys. The driver was passing around a bottle Of tequila and seemed he might have had a bit himself and we did not feel too safe riding at that point. Overall the guy was funny and nice and the trip was interesting seeing how people live in the city.

Delicious and 9nteresting

The tacos were incredible and it was interesting to learn about how Tequila is made and the different types. The tour was longer than necessary. The guide left us at the tourist market with his associate who was working hard to sell us items. This was about an hour total. Then we were left at one restaurant for much longer than necessary to eat 2 tacos. This is all ok, just know going into it that it is a leisurely tour with a lot of downtime.

Limited city tour

Our tour guide was nice, but the city tour part was limited in duration, coverage and information. We were left in a certain market area for an extended time in the middle of our tour, which felt odd and quite commercial (designed for us to buy stuff).
