Pick ups are done at a door to door service. All you need to do is provide us with your pickup location in Cape town proper. Travellers staying ng outside our 6km Cape town pick up radius can meet us at Hyaat Regency hotel at the set time, a day before the tour.
What To Expect
Get picked up from your Cape Town hotel and travel by air-conditioned minivan to Bo-Kaap, for an informative walk around the colorful neighborhood, before a quick photo stop at Camps Bay.
At Hout Bay, explore the scenic town, market, or beach, or take an optional ferry (own expense) to Duiker Island to see cape fur seals. Stop for photos at Chapman’s Peak Drive and Cape Point Ostrich Farm on the way to the Cape Point Nature Reserve, which you can explore on foot or vehicle. Choose from different trails to hike at Cape of Good Hop.
Stop at the Old Cape Point Lighthouse before lunch (own expense) at Simon’s Town. Opt to include entrance tickets with your tour, and your guide will provide tickets for you to Boulders Bay Penguin Colony. Enjoy time on the beach with the penguins with helpful narrative you’re your guide before returning to Cape Town.

Rodney was the perfect guide he was upbeat, friendly and very informative
He made the day perfect for both of us. We are visiting from the UK and it was our first day in Cape Town. He even directed us to a restaurant we wanted to try in the evening!

This tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Cape Town! Candice and Mabii were amazing guides! They were super friendly, knowledgable, flexible enough to accommodate our special requests, answered all of our questions, offered to be our photographers for the day and even taught us some words in Afrikaans and isiXhosa! We truly had a blast and saw a tremendous amount of attractions in one day: Cape of Good Hope, the penguins at Boulders Beach, the seal colony at Hout Bay, Chapman's Peak drive and even stopped at an Ostrich Farm. We'd definitely recommend this tour.

Great value for money for a full day. Small group - only five people on the tour. Fantastic guide (Danson) was very attentive and provided informative and fascinating commentary throughout. Highlights were the seals, penguins and Cape Point. We were also fortunate to see ostriches, elands and baboons during our drive. Would definitely recommend.

Good value for money. All great spots of the cape peninsula in one day. Our driver was Joseph, who is super friendly and shared a lot of interesting insights and stories about past and current history of South Africa. Be aware that you are let free at each spot, which is actually great as it lets each traveller explore the spots at the desired pace. 100% recommended!

This felt like a classic bus tour - structured schedule, info overload. Great if you're short on time and want to see all the Cape Town essentials with transfers included. Don't expect an intimate, story-filled experience though. The guide throws facts at you, which can feel impersonal.
However, if you want to see everything in a day, this is a solid option. Plus, Cape Town's stunning scenery definitely overshadows the downsides of a traditional tour. We just wished we could've soaked in the beauty without the constant information flow.

By far the best day I have had in Cape Town. Our guide Rodney was brilliant and made sure everyone had a great day. We had plenty of time to do everything on the itinerary and the whole day was very well paced. Rodney made the day fun and interesting and made us feel like a group of friends rather than people who had just met. I will definitely do another tour with Cape Archive Tours when I come back.

The perfect day tour! We had a group of 13 and Leon was our guide. He picked us up from our hotel in a comfortable charter bus. Leon was great! He was very knowledgeable and kept our big group on schedule. He was kind enough to take our group pictures at The Cape of Good Hope and even gave us tips on the best way to feed the ostriches! He gave us lots of information and helped us make the best decisions to make the tour one we’ll never forget! We stopped at Farm’s Village in Noordhoek for coffee and I think I fell in love!
