  • We collect all travellers at hotels within 6km radius. Should travellers not meet this requirement, we have a meeting point from 08:30am at The Silo Hotel, Silo Square, Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, Cape Town, 8801
  • Travellers who are unable to hike the short distance from Cape of Good Hope to Cape Point lighthouse can take the Funicular at a rate of R75.00 per adult and R35.00 per child

It was a very enjoyable tour, visiting really beatiful places. The guide Shafiek was excellent. We also stopped for lunch in a very nice restaurant in Simon’s Town (Harbour View).
Memorable experiences!

This is the best way to see the areas, travelling in small groups. Thomas was are expert guide who provided us with information on the local areas. The small group allowed us to all connect, have a fun experience and see so much in one day! What can we say we saw it all: seals, penguins, ostriches and baboons along the way, Cape Point and dramatic views. Thanks for memorable experiences and meeting great people!

Our guide Shafiek was great. Super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. He made some great photo stops along the way for us and pulled over when we saw ostriches. He was really a super guide! The Tour itself, however, had some issues. First of all, we did not hit all the stops b/c they did not inform the driver. The replies to other reviews about this said, "we will address it", but it is still happening. There is also not enough time at the lighthouse and the penguins. It would be much better if the tour company did advanced purchase so WE don't have to wait in long lines which take up a chunk of the alloyed time on station. Both areas were rushed, also sited in other reviews. We also did not stop AT ALL at the Farm Village, also referenced in other reviews and also said they would fix it. Still not stopping there. I wrote into the Tour company, and they could care less. No regrets, no refunds....nothing. You can hit all of these spots at your leisure by hiring a private car and do better!

I booked this trip specifically on my sister’s recommendation as it mentioned it stopped at Noordhoek farm village which I would like. Unfortunately, the tour did not stop there and when I asked the guide later why not after realising, she said it was because no one requested coffee. We were never asked. The final stop to see the colourful huts was absolutely ridiculous. The description says we get to go to st James beach for a photo opp with the huts but the attached photo is actually where we stopped, viewing the huts from so far away that they were mere specks in the distance. This is not what the tour that was described nor what I paid for. Would not recommend.

The drive itself was beautiful and the stops at cape of good hope and the penguins were amazing! I could have done without the stop at bo-kaap but the rest was really worth it and you got to see a lot in one day!

For this small group tour our guide Sylvie manage the time very well that allow us to get an ahead at most attractions skipping the usual long queue. Sites where all beautiful and we hit every stop listed. Driver was an hour late picking us up and rude to pedestrians and other drivers. The driver is also the guide who just calls out random facts when driving aggressively. AC in van was not cool enough.

Date of trip: 3th March 2024. Our driver was non communicative! He didn’t introduce himself and didn’t say much during the tour. Every stop he would put his seat flat for a sleep. It was terrible! He would put a AI generated text on speaker with some historical facts. I had to remind him to stop the audio as it was repetitive and he didn’t notice. Although I do think this day tour is a must and good value, it would have been more transparent if the additional costs would have been mentioned. as mandatory as there was no option to stay behind at the tourist attractions. And the driver had already bought tickets for boulder beach and Cape of good hope. Anyway, extra expenses €35. So please be aware of these extra expenses.

A do not miss tour

This tour is a must. Along the coat from Cape Town to Cape of Good Hope around southern tip of Africa back up to bolder beach and African penguins and back to Cape Town. The scenery, shore line, beaches, animals in the wild plus being at south western most point of Africa and seeing the penguins is an absolute must !!! Ask for Ruben. He is the best tour guide.
