Excellent wine and great prices. Fairview had excellent wine and cheese pairings. The wine was also very affordable. Staff was knowledgeable and personable. Marianne also excellent with nice jerky pairings. The staff went above and beyond and the sunset views were outstanding. Our guide Marco was excellent as well.

The guide was so knowledgeable and clear about the tour, he kept it amusing and very informative. The day seemed to go by so smoothly and quickly. Very comfortable trip and would recommend you to book this, oh and the wine was very good and I took two bottles for quality tasting later. Yum.

This was a great and relaxing tour. Visited 2 wineries and tasted a total of 17 wines, with cheese and biltong. Also had time for 45 minutes stroll in Stellenbosch itself. Marco was an excellent tour guide. He arrived at the promised time and has extensive knowledge on wines and the area.

Shane gave an amazing tour from pickup to drop off. He knows so much about wine as well as the area, so it was fun to see what makes the area unique. He was also able to accommodate my a request I made a few days in advance to bring my luggage from Camps Bay so I could be dropped off in Stellenbosch. The wineries chosen both had amazing wine as well as top-notch food pairings. The thing that really made this tour special in comparison to other wine tours I’ve done is that the group size is limited to the amount vehicle seats so I had the social aspect of being in a group tour with the relaxed timeframe of a private tour. Shane also made sure we ate and let us stop to get some sandwiches at a gas station which really saved the day!

We went on the morning 6 hour tour on Tuesday 13th. Our guide (sorry can’t remember his name!) was excellent. Very friendly and informative. The tour was brilliant we tried 12 wines in total and never felt rushed. Would definitely recommend.

Fairview and Glen Carlou were great vineyards to visit: fine wines well presented, in really picturesque surroundings. Dylan at Glen C was very helpful. Our short visit to Stellenbosch made us want to return … lovely town. Driver/guide Shane worked hard to keep us informed and looked after us well.

Great Wine Tasting Tour!

We were picked up promptly at our hotel in a comfortable minibus and, after picking up others en route, we were soon headed to Stellenbosch for our first session of wine tasting. The wines were paired with different cheeses and meats, as well as lavender oil and other dipping sauces. We were given excellent information about each of the wines. We then moved on to a second place, which was also very good (although not as good as the first one). Afterwards we were dropped in the town Stellenbosch for a wander round, which was very enjoyable. We were expecting to be dropped back at our hotel at 1.30pm but it was closer to 4pm, so we certainly got our money's worth!
