Not worth the money

We were picked up in a family car, which was a 12 seater and completely full, so it was rather cramped. A gentleman spilled his drink down my back and didn't apologise. The trip there took a little under 3 hours due to traffic. The Bali beds aren't included in the price and you need to pay for them. The beach is dirtier than I expected, there's bottle caps, plastic bottles and wrappers lying around. I thought it would be cleaner given that the beach is managed by various businesses. The vendors are quite persistent. An oyster vendor put an oyster in my hand and pushed my hand to my mouth with no mention of price. Because he was inside the compound of the club, I thought it was included as we had just been given complimentary drinks. The guide had warned us so perhaps this was my fault. The worst part though was at the end. I presented a bill for the food and Bali bed by the club for 71.500 COP. I handed over 90.000 COP and received change of 18.500 COP. About 20 seconds later, the lady that handed me the change waved a 20.000 COP note and said I needed to give her 10.000 COP. The guide, Mike, tried to convince me I owed her the money. I said I didn't because I'd been given the correct change. They conceded but it felt like Mike was in on their scam and not there to look out for the guests. Honestly, I'd recommend just going to a closer beach yourself. There's nothing special about that beach and it seems like Mike and the club are there to extort as much money out of you as possible. It's a shame because it could be lovely if there a little more honest, the transport was more comfortable and the best were a little cleaner.

Don't buy the VIP package..

8 bought the "VIP" package..when we arrived they informed us that the Beds wer3 not included...that the "VIP" package includes a bottle of water, an introductory drink and a "Fruit" salad. The drink wasn't even alcohol it was a small cup of juice, the "fruit" salad...well all we got was some hot pieces of papaya...GROSS.. the "Beach Club" was ok.. the pictures are MUCH NICER....The staff was very attentive and they did they best to accommodate us. 5 stars for the service...that Piña Colada was...DELICIOUS!!!! BUT OVERALL.....DONT BUY THE SO CALLED VIP PACKAGE ITS NOT WORTH IT...

Jesus was our tour guide for that day and was absolutely great. The whole experience was wonderful. They offer pick-up/drop-off plus 30k COP voucher to spend in their Playa Blanca area. The area is only open to the tour group. They offer food, drinks, messages, vendors selling trinket, and offer excursions too. The food options were great & the food was just as amazing & tasty. My only issue is that we were told that in their area we'd only be charged I believe an additional 15% for using card & everywhere else it would be like 20%. This was not the case when my group booked an excursion as were charged that 20% additional. Also with that excursion we booked in their area we were supposed to receive pictures taken of our snorkeling portion, but didn't ever get anything. Other than what I have mentioned it was great experience, but I'd avoid doing the excursion with card.

BAIT and SWITCH! Read the comments about the long bus ride with no air conditioner! Don't oversee the walk through garbage to get to a "public beach". There is absolutely NOTHING VIP about this experience!

Relaxed on the cabanas Great staff and service. Jetski is a must Snorkeling was ok. Not much to see but the short boat ride there and the low cost was worth it The tour guide did an excellent job making deals with the locals a d keeping an eye on us Our booking advisor, Shelsea & Ana kept us up to date with the details of the drip via email, WhatsApp. Should be informed of ost of Cabanas ahead though

I was a little disappointed with limited space and availability of seaside loungers. The bus ride was very comfortable but everything was off schedule. I must compliment the staff, they were wonderful, being non Spanish speaking all staff was very patient and understanding 👏🏾 Also the water was crystal clear but the actual beach left much to be desired. And there’s little to say about the aggressive vendors ( everyone has to make living, 🤦🏽‍♂️)

The flies was terrible!!!! The drive was long and bumpy! So many other tours provide a boat ride to the beach, driving through roads infested with trash is just not the ideal thing to see during a tour ride

Fly infested garbage dump

PLEASE believe me if you take this tour you are going to end up in the fly infested garbage dump!! It was the most disgusting beach I have ever seen!! To get to the beach you literally have to walk through piles and piles of garbage, and when you get there you would be surrounded by a billion flies which makes it impossible to eat lunch since your food is going to be covered with flies! I am sure that all reviews here are ether fake or people who are not coming from USA just have MUCH lower expectations.

This was soooo much better than expected! The area on the beach was great, we had the option of either bed or full beach chairs. The staff was friendly and communicated great before the trip yo give details. The trip was also like 6-7 hours long providing time to relax in your hotel (avoiding traffic), which was great because I didn't want to be out that long. I definitely recommend!

la entrada a la playa no me gusto, caminamos para llegar al punto de encuentro, las instalaciones y el inmobiliario nada que ver con las fotos, era dificultoso bañarse porque habian piedras en las orillas cuando uno queria entrar a bañarse, la comida pedi un arroz con mariscos por el cual tuve que pagar un adicional de 30,000 pesos, y la verdad no pasaba nada, lo unico bueno fue un masaje que pude darme para relajarme, solo estuvimos 3 horas en la playa, que se fueron volando, porque a las 2.00pm llega otro grupo de turistas que se cruzaron con nosotros, es decir pagas para estar 3 horas en la playa. Habia muchas moscas , la verdad no me agrado mucho ese dia en la playa,mejor estan las playas publicas(donde va mucho turista y no esta aglomerada, puedes alquilar tu carpa y sillas y tranquilamente te bañas y disfrutas del mar, yo estuve en la Av Marbella frente al mar y las playas se ven estupendas.

Es importante destacar que nuestra playa, como muchas otras en el mundo, está siendo afectada por la amenaza del cambio climático y la erosión costera. Nos esforzamos constantemente en trabajos de concientización y limpieza en la playa en compañia de los nativos de la isla para mantenerla en las mejores condiciones posibles. Además, en relación a su comentario sobre las piedras en la orilla, estas son el resultado directo del fenómeno de la erosión costera. Actualmente estamos en temporada de altas mareas y esto puede causar que algunas piedras se acumulen en la orilla, sin embargo, esto no afecta la calidad del agua y esperamos que pueda disfrutar de un baño refrescante en su próxima visita. Respecto a la comida, nuestro tour incluye un bono de consumo de $30,000 que puede ser utilizado en cualquier plato del menú. El arroz con mariscos, que tiene un valor de $60,000, es una opción adicional para aquellos que deseen probarlo. En cuanto a la duración del tour, nuestro itinerario está diseñado para que nuestros visitantes tengan la oportunidad de disfrutar de la playa durante la mañana, desde las 9am hasta las 2pm, para regresar a sus hoteles de forma segura y cómoda 3:00pm a 3.30pm. Nos esforzamos por brindar una experiencia única y auténtica en nuestra playa y esperamos tener la oportunidad de recibirlo nuevamente en el futuro. Agradecemos nuevamente sus comentarios y esperamos que tenga una experiencia más placentera en su próxima visita.

Inició con una llamada telefónica indicándonos trasladarnos a una calle que no conocíamos para recogernos, en vez de recogernos en el hotel como indica la reserva (no sabíamos como llegar a esa calle, entonces sí nos recogieron en el hotel) Ya en el transporte, al ingresar a la calle de lastre cercana al parqueadero el chófer del bus detuvo el carro para botar la basura a la calle!! Increíble, no lo podíamos creer..una falta de educación. El parqueo es un basurero completo. La playa y el mar son bonitos, eso sí, muchisimas personas, sillas, no es una playa limpia. A pesar de estar en un club privado entran los vendedores y las masajistas y constantemente lo interrumpen, y esto se mantiene al ingresar al mar! Se acercan en lanchas y Jet Ski a ofrecer servicios, huele a gasolina. En el lugar muy buena atención y comida, pagamos extra por comer Sierra que fue una excelente recomendación del mesero. En general bien, no volvería.

Estava esperando um pouco mais devido ao preço principalmente. A guia que foi conosco é muito gente boa, mas achei o ônibus meio velho e sem muita segurança. O bar é legal, mas bem limitado nas opções de comida e bebida. As camas de dossel que ficam na praia são pagas à parte (e não são baratas) e estão um pouco desgastadas. A praia e o mar naquele local da Playa Blanca são lindos! Vale a pena ir, mas sem grandes expectativas.
