Highly recommend the Casablanca layover tour package. This tour was customized to meet our needs. We were picked up at the airport and after the city tour was dropped off at the Casablanca port to meet our cruise ship. Kelsy our tour guide was wonderful and made sure that we were happy with the tour which we were. He drove us around the city and showed us what Casablanca had to offer. The Hassan II mosque was the highlight of the tour. It was amazing. We also stopped at a shop for some biscuits and Moroccan coffee. Very good. Had a great day and couldn’t be happier.

Much needed spiritual oasis

The Hassan II Mosque was certainly the highlight of my visit. A beacon rising out of the Harbor. Truly a place like no other on this Planet. It does not matter how the Mosque ranks in terms of capacity or the minaret height, this is an engineering and architectural marvel. An extra takeaway point from my trip to Casablanca was an extremely positive impression I got from the apparent concerted effort to maintain balance of multiple religions in the City. Catholic Cathedrals and a Moroccan Judaism Museum are testaments to that.

NOT a private tour

It is not a private tour but a bus load of people. It was important for us that we would Quick look at all highlights but instead we had to wait all the time on other people. Also we booked 09:00 but when we arrived they told us, the tour starts at 10-10:30 because that’s when the other people will arrive. So even more time waisted. By the end of the tour was of course a stop with a sales pitch in a carpet shop and a herbs shop. Why so many 5 star reviews here ? because by the end of the tour, WiFi in the bus is turned on and they give a QR code to scan to give 5 star rating. On the positive side, we had a very professional and safe driver.

Abdo was a wonderful guide, showing myself and one other solo traveler around Casablanca- he shared history and information about both the city and visited sites (the mosque, church, Ricky’s cafe, pigeon park and more!), he played photographer for us, treated us to tea, and helped us shop at the souks for trinkets. The tour was wonderful and the perfect way to spend a long layover in Casablanca!

Great tour from Casablanca Airport

We had an 8 hr layover so decided to book a tour. Samir, gave us the best tour! He pointed out neighborhoods, took us to the market, stopped when I wanted to take a photo, took us to the Catholic Cathedral, and to the mosque. At the mosque we had Abdel as our guide. He was a professor of literature and our tour was excellent!! We enjoyed talking about everyday life in Casablanca and Morocco. It was an unforgettable day in Casablanca for us. Thanks Samir!!!

I highly recommend this tour company. Communication was easy peasy (the day before), on time, courteous, very nice premium black SUV car, driver is knowledgeable of the city, flexible, helped me take pictures, even bought me a coffee. best way to spend a long layover. Shout out to Wahid! If I am in Morocco again, I would definitely look up this company for intercity transfers or to airport.

Outstanding tour even for a short (5 hours) layover

Great experience even with a short layover (5 hrs). Ahmid picked me up at the airport for a private tour of Casablanca. The car was high standard, black SUV, very nice and clean. He was very efficient and helpful during the tour. Casablanca is beautiful and well worth the trip. I highly recommend this tour even if your layover is short-ish.

Firstly, I’d like to comment on the customer service. They were able to answer all my questions. Mostly, I needed to know where I could keep my luggage on the tour since I was doing a long layover. (In the car with you if you wanted to know) Anas, my driver texted me to inform he was at the airport and where to meet. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He took me to every popular place and provided the history of it. He treated me like a princess opening doors and even tying my shoe. I enjoyed the mosque tour. I learned a lot. The “ pigeon” square was a sight. Anas, took me to some local stores to see carpets and how argon oil was harvested. I declined the offer to eat because I was afraid it would upset my tummy before I reached my actual destination. Lastly, I was very pleased with Anas and the entire experience. I’d do it all over again.

Wow what a great experience! This is a must do tour in Morocco. Oussama was the best tour guide EVER! He was very knowledgeable, courteous and super welcoming. I only had about 2 hours or less to see stop at some attractions and he made sure to take me to the best ones. He also had me try amazing almond cookies and fresh juice while on the tour. He was great at taking pictures and providing direction on how to take some really picture. He is the best and you should request him if you’re thinking of doing a tour in Morocco. It’s so worth it! I booked the Casablanca day tour because I had a 13 hour layover between destinations. It was my first time using Viator and I am sure to use it again. I am a woman traveling solo for work. It was so well organized, with a welcome message on WhatsApp and a photo and specific clear instructions of where to meet my tour guide at the airport. My guide, Youssef Benmouki was amazing, speaking excellent English, very knowledgeable and such a gentleman. He took many photos for me at every destination and had great suggestions. We had a wonderful lunch in a restaurant that once was a synagogue. It was an extremely comfortable and enjoyable experience with Youssef. In fact, I now feel that I have a friend in Casablanca! Especially as a single woman traveling, I would highly recommend this Casablanca Layover Tour with Youssef Benmouki.

Do not hesitate to book this tour. You will be pleasantly surprised at how much of Casablanca you can experience in just a few hours. Mehdi and Hicham are exceptionally kind, knowledgeable, and resourceful guides. Thanks to them, we were able to visit many sites, shop, and enjoy an authentic dinner with music at the Dar El Kaid restaurant. We never felt rushed. To top it all off, they even accommodated me so I could visit a college friend who lives in Casablanca
