What To Expect

Explore Cozumel’s gorgeous beach on horseback, plus visit the mangroves and jungle, too. This small, intimate group tour is perfect for those who want attention from the guide, but also freedom to ride at their own pace.

Your tour starts with meeting your guide at the departure point, and then head out to meet your horse. This tour is great for the entire family, since beginners and more advanced riders are welcome.

You’ll have a safety briefing, and then you’ll be on your way. Your guide will show you the best route to take in the area’s natural beauty. First you’ll head into the jungle, then mangrove forests and local farms. Your final destination is the white sands and blue waters of Cozumel’s beautiful beach.

Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Ernesto and his team were very nice and kind. Ernesto was a great guide and very knowledgeable and informative about the horses, the other wild life, nature, and etc. 30-minute ride through the jungle to the beach and back was peaceful and tranquil. I would definitely recommend and would return in the future.

The horseback riding was definitely a great experience for my children and I. It was relaxing and the beach. although it was short and quick, it too was great. The tour guide was also very nice to us and we didn't really have to wait too long to get onto the horses. We definitely will recommend this to anyone.

As a first time rider, they made sure I had a calm horse (Golden) and Leo took me through the trail to the beach. It was very rocky and muddy in the jungle, but the horses are well trained and calm, so I felt safe. Leo would stop to point out the wildlife. The beach was so nice, and Leo took my cell phone to take a lot of pictures. There was no professional photographer there, maybe because I was the first rider. I would definitely do this again.

Our guide was Juan. He’s patient and caught on that we were a bit nervous. He made things easy. He paired us with the right horses too! We’d visit Mr. Sancho’s again. Got to see the green side, an iguana was out in front on our path, got to see the ocean and take some photos.

$80.00 for approximately 25-30 minute ride through a muddy jungle and then the beach . Even the horses were trying to go around the mud instead of through it .. Then charged another $30 for a picture.

Paid for what was supposed to be horseback riding at Mr. Sancho's resort, with access then to the beach, pools, and facilities per the posting. When we tried to go to beach, they said the package didn't include access, even though I showed them that on Viator it did. They didn't care and basically told me that we had to pay again to just swim st the beach. They also took a group photo that they said they would send to me and we never received that. Horses were nice but a very short tour and only about 5 mins on the beach - the rest of the time was just walking around in the wooded paths of the resort. Would not recommend and will be requesting a refund for the portion we could not use.

I booked this experience for my daughter she absolutely loves horses and the beach. I was very disappointed at the condition of the area we had to go to to meet our tour guide.The tour guide was very friendly and nice but the whole horseback riding on the beach is untrue. we horseback ride through a terrible, winding, muddy, smelly, narrow path. It felt like forever. I was so afraid for the horses that they were going to step on a coconut or all these branches and rocks on the trail, We probably rode about 25 feet onto the sand just for a lady to take our picture of the beach in the background and then turned around and went back. So when you read Cozumel Beach horseback riding I just want you to be aware it’s more through a swampy trail.

Martin was good. Tour was a nice tour on trail then onto the beach for pics. Pics came out beautiful! Mr Sanchez’s beach club is not included. Operated differently. It’s an additional 68.00 but has access to pool, beach and unlimited food and drinks. Well worth it! Just know the 2 are seperate
