We meet all of our guests next to the cruise terminals, pick up from hotel and ferry. Please be aware that you may be coming from a different time zone. Cozumel does not follow day light savings so half the year we are on EST and the other half is CST. So March-November (spring & summer) Cozumel is CST and November-March (fall & winter) is EST. The cruise ships should be using our local time for the time of arrival to the island. You may also see your cruise ships time of arrival using our cruise ship schedule, and the link is provided below Your cruise ship itinerary is based on our local time. For example, if your cruise ship says it will be docking in Cozumel at 8AM, that is local time, and if your meeting time is 8:30AM local time, you will have 30 minutes to get to your meeting point. All meeting points are very close and within walking distance of the cruise pier area.

Tall Fernando was our guide and we enjoyed the day traveling with him. He was very informative, with a sense of humor. He pointed out lots of interesting sites and wildlife and took his time at each stop for us. Even finding a log for a step into the Jeep. It was a great day and ended with a excelant lunch at the Beach Club.

Great tour to see and have a feel of Cozumel

This tour is a great one to take if you want to see and get the feel of the island. The stops for tequila and chocolate tasting was good , but i would have preferred more time at the beach, hence I would skip this one if you choose so. Going to Punta Sur ecological area and tower was the highlight of this tour. Make sure to bring sunglasses and bug spray especially for later in the day. We only had one hour for the beach and lunch so I wasn’t too pleased with that. The beach club we went to was crowded but fun. It just didn’t have enough beach chairs. Our tour guide Johnny was friendly and made sure we were comfortable and happy.

We had a great time cruising around the island, our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, we saw lots of animals, went to three tequila tastings and had a great lunch / swim back at the beach club on the way home.

This tour was perfect and our tour guide Edwin was awesome. A genuinely kind and knowledgable person who made sure we were comfortable with everything we did. I had my doubts when the first stop was the tequila/chocolate tasting at 9:30am. I haven't had tequila in over 20 years and had sworn it off…I caved and tried the different kinds and it was SO good! Willy was an awesome host for the tasting. From there we went to some great spots with great views…we were’t able to see the crocodiles but plenty of other wildlife. Ended the day at a nice beach club for lunch right on the beach. It was a great day!

We wanted to go to the beach club first thing in order to eat and relax by the water. We were supposed to eat at a nicer beautiful beach club but they substituted Coco’s which was not too great. Antonio, our driver, was pleasant but didn’t let us know that we were going to be on the other side of the island from other major sights. He was belligerent when we asked about going to the national park and other beach resort and that it was on the other side of the island. We should’ve been told that we had to choose which side of the island we wanted to go to because the other would be available. Overall, we were not happy at all with this excursion.

Miguel was a wonderful tour guide. So much we would have missed on this island if we did not take the tour. The chocolate tasting a d the tortillas was the best part.

The price seemed to good to be true with all the “inclusions” on the list…..so be aware the only inclusions are the driver, lunch (more on that), tequila tasting (more on that), water and beer in the jeep and the “eco park” which we didn’t visit because it closes at 4 pm. The email we received with a picture of the driver is not who showed up. Apparently that’s the owner. So, when a random person approaches you be aware it may be your driver. Meeting point was a short walk from the port but you’re on the main st in town and people try to sell you things. We asked to stop at a shop and had to pay for parking while there. Not a big deal but Just be aware of things like this and what is not included in your price. He took us to the tequila tasting without us asking him to as it was “included”. if you want to be pushed into buying overpriced tequila ($200 a bottle) by all means go however we did not want to buy tequila and it was awkward. We chose to visit the Mayan ruins on the island entrance fee was about 20 per person and the driver waited while we took our tour. The driver stopped at a few scenic places for us to take pictures. Lunch was “included” but it was at an outdoor restaurant and you were only permitted to order fajitas. If you ordered anything else, drinks, water, chips and salsa, etc. you had to purchase it. Also you needed cash for this. We did not have time to visit the Eco park, but from what he explained, it’s a beach area and a lighthouse that was included in the tour price. Overall, our tour was five hours to the dot and we were dropped off right at the port upon return. The driver was polite and drove safely. The Jeep was a little rusted but worked well and was air-conditioned. There was a slight language barrier, but it was manageable.

Ask for Yared!!!!

We had the best day seeing Cozumel thanks to our FANTASTIC guide, Yared. He started the day asking us what we wanted to see, and he made it all happen. Also, we started out in an older Jeep that was a little hard for my friend who recently had surgery to get in and out of, so while we were at our chocolate tasting he exchanged the old Jeep for a new one that was much easier for her to get in and out of. He also helped her in and out each time we stopped. Yared shared Cozumel’s history throughout our day and when I asked about the beautiful orange flowers on the side of the road, he informed us that all the flowers on the island were named after Mayan princesses. This was a really fun way to see most of the island and my friend and I completely believe Yared made it that way. If you want a fun was to see Cozumel, this is it and do yourself a favor and ask for Yared, you won’t be sorry!! Thanks Yared for a fabulous day.❤️

The description of this tour was not as the tour itself. No snorkeling or diving as described. We Promised to stay in down town for some time and we didn’t. Waist of money . You can take a taxi for $20 one way to national park and pay the fees of the park and that’s it.

Keep us a great way to get around the island, but we’d have wanted a guide who was better at English and who could tell us more about the island and its history. I think he might have been better had we wanted to snorkel and shop rather than see island. He was very nice.

Perfect way to see Cozumel

This was such a great tour! Our guide Javier was so much fun and shared his love of the island. The only part I would skip is the lunch, the service was so slow and we were there way too long. I would have rather stopped at a taco stand and maybe a couple more little bar stops. But even with that it was one of the best tours I have ever done. Thanks Javier!!!

Adriana was friendly, prepared, knowledgeable and fun. Great time w teens and grandma. Paid $48 for nonalcoholic drinks at lunch but we were able to avoid other costs. Fully customizable experience. We had a mixup with pickup due to ship changing port.

Jeep Tour Disappointment

A codimundi visiting tables at lunch and Punta Sur highlighted the tour. Due to weather, we weren't able to get in the water to snorkel. The tequila stop was similar to other similar sales stops we have done in the past except way more expensive to purchase. The driver didn't offer beer or water to us but claimed he had it. Value for the price was average. Our driver was responsive to questions and turned out to be quite interesting but there wasn't a lot of information otherwise. I can't recommend this tour.

Avoid this tour!

We booked the tour and they said that the pick up was included and was not. The local operator did a pretty good job to help us to adjust the time, as we need to go from the hotel to Cozumel by ourselves. Viator said would be a costumized tour and the tour would take from 5 to 6 hours! Our guide said to us the limit was 4h . The tour has a list of things and admissions included, however the first thing that the guide offered to us was a park that need to paid $17 each person. We said that we wanted to go to the beach and the guide took us to a beach with lots of stones, and if we want to have a shadow we would need to pay $30. We decided to go to next beach! He drove us to a beach in front of the restaurant that is included and the beach had a sign saying “dont swiming because the sea is dangerous” :( we stayed there for 1h45 min. After, we went to punt sur and stay there for 30 min or 45 min and this was the end. We did not snorkeling because of the wind, and the guide said that he could not drive us to the beach clubs that was included! I thought really weird, why we could not go at least to the beach? There was no compensation because we could not do the snorkel! It was really frustrating and expensive ! I don’t recommend this tour !

Great but bring lots of extra money for tips and vendors

Hugo, our driver, was very nice and helpful. He even helped pull me around one of the snorkeling areas because I was too tired to finish. If he had not done that, I would have missed the sting rays. Make sure you bring extra waters and money as you stop a lot of places that you may want to do things.

Our guide, Rene Avila, was excellent. So informative, happy, and insured we were able to go everywhere we wanted. Lunch was good. Car not so good as the air conditioning was broken. It was a wonderful day and would have been hard to do all we did by ourselves.

Thw tour was fun. Hans was very informative and had a great personality. He was helpful with our entire family to answer questions and explain what we were doing. We were short on time but Hans made the most of the time we had. Beaches, food, tequila and shopping all awesome.

Israel was great! Our jeep not so much

Israel was a fantastic guide! He asked us what was important to us and tailored everything to our requests. We got to see all the things we wanted , nothing we didn't and even took us to a fruit stand as my wife requested. By asking what we wanted at the beginning we wasted no time backtracking as he could plan a good route! Please understand that the company doesn't own the jeeps, the company rents them daily. Ours was a little beat up , loud ac fan motor but fine and definitely safe! The fact that all the parks are included in the price are great. We asked Israel about the culture, what their day to day lives were like etc , he was very honest and interesting! Would reccomend!!!
