My family and I had a great time, Roberto was kind/funny/very knowledgeable of the history that he passed on to us. He didn't give more attention one person than the next, I'd definitely go again if he was my guide.

I gained a better appreciation for one of my favorite things at this tour and workshop, located adjacent to the Playa Mia beach club and water park. Paty was such a warm guide, as we made our own chocolate with traditional-style tools and then blended up an amazing chocolate margarita (better than any espresso martini I've ever had) with an artisanal tequila. A wonderful 90 minutes for foodies and fans of cultural history.

My partner has the photos but this was a great excursion. Book here not through the cruise. It wasn’t over crowded, it was worth the money for sure. Highly recommended. And we still had time for the beach! It’s walking distance from where this is as well. No complaints.

NO GUIDE OR TRANSPORTATION

We never got there! Told we needed to get transportation… REALLY??? You get off a ship in Cozumel and have no idea, I contacted the representative and then told to get a taxi which is approximately an hr ride and lord knows the cost??!!!! Asked them for a refund which we will more than likely not receive ($90). DO NOT BOOK THIS ONE

Roberto greeted us. Was very kind, knowledgeable, fun. We learned alot about the Mayan culture. Enjoyed the chocolate making and had our first ever chocolate margarita. It was excellent! The tequila education was interesting also. Go! You won’t be disappointed!

This tour was very informative and lots of fun for our family. I was pleasantly surprised that we not only learned a lot about chocolate and tequila, but we got to make our own chocolate! Our tour guide, Angel, was the best. I highly recommend doing this with a friend or a small group.

We ended up having a private tour (not as many tourists due to Covid) and learned about the history of chocolate, Mayan culture and saw the stingless bees. Then we made a chocolate bar from the cocoa beans and then finished the tour with a chocolate margarita. Martin was our tour guide and was excellent
