This spooky, after-dark experience begins at the Ferris Plaza meeting place, conveniently located in the heart of Dallas. After meeting your guide—who comes prepared with a microphone, so you can be sure to hear every word—set off on foot.
Your first stop is a hotel where numerous deaths have occurred, including that of a famous Congressman. Next, head to the Dallas County Courthouse, considered a haunted hotspot. As you go, you’ll have the special chance to see a new side of Dallas, all while learning insider, lesser-known stories about the goriest and scariest parts of its history.
The frights continue when you stop at one of the city’s most-visited landmarks: Dealey Plaza, the site of President John F. Kenney’s grisly assassination. On this night tour, you’ll get to see it without the crowds, and will feel the full effect of its dark past.
Next, visit several other notably creepy Dallas locations, all while your guide brings their stories to life. The tour ends back at your departure point.

My husband, brother in law, and I all took the Dallas ghost tour during our trip to see the eclipse. Our tour guide, Frank, was a lot of fun and very knowledgeable. We enjoyed learning all about the history of the sites on the tour and the true crimes that happened there. While the other two in my party are sceptics, I do believe in ghosts. On the final stop of the extended tour, it did sound like someone quickly whispered in my ear, but there was no one close to me on that side. Perhaps a ghost? Even if not, we all still had a great time on the tour. Whether you believe in ghosts or not, it's still a great time seeing the sites and learning about the history of the city.
I will say, a couple of the groups in our tour had kids in their party, and given the crime descriptions, I don't know if it is really best for young kids. Frank did a great job balancing the descriptions to keep them from being too gruesome for the younger members in our party, and the kids did seem to have fun. However, I would use discretion when booking this tour with kids.

We asked for parking recommendations and those provided was an 18 min walk from the start point. They offered a rebooking with a $10 service fee which they waived. I accepted the rebooking for the next night. I sent a message day of the rebooking event to ask if the tour was still on for that evening and was told no. They automatically, without my knowledge, rebooked me for a night when I wasn’t even going to be in town. I’ve taken ghost tours in the past and was excited for this one which never occurred. Thank you Viator to ensure I was refunded my money.

Good your for the whole family. It was raining on and off and the guide was very accommodating so we didn't get wet.
It was all in the same area so not a lot of walking either.
