Overview

Now is the chance to feel the thrill of skydiving without the stress or price tag that comes with jumping out of a plane. At iFLY Dallas, guests enter a vertical wind tunnel with speeds up to 175 mph (282 kph) and lift off into the air. No previous experience needed: You receive a private tutorial from a certified instructor, who accompanies you into the wind tunnel.

Confirmation will be received at time of booking
If you have previous neck, back, heart, injuries or shoulder dislocations, are pregnant or wearing a hard cast - you will not be able to fly.
In order to provide a safe experience for its customers and instructors, iFLY may not be able to accommodate flyers who weigh between 260-300 lbs and will not be able to accommodate flyers whose weight exceeds 300 lbs. Upon check in for flight reservations, additional evaluation by local staff will be required to determine if flyers between 260-300 lbs can be accommodated and whether additional restrictions may apply.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Q:How does the Dallas Indoor Skydiving Experience work?

A:A vertical wind tunnel has fans at the top to draw air through the flight chamber and then push it back down the sides. The air is then compressed & sped up before it reenters the flight chamber causing a smooth column of air that enables you to fly.

A:The unique design of the wind tunnel, with its wall-to-wall air column, along with certified and highly-trained instructors, allows you to safely enjoy your flight. Your instructor is with you the entire time regardless of your level of experience.

Q:What is a Wind Tunnel?

A:Very simply, a wind tunnel is a machine that moves a lot of air. A vertical wind tunnel moves air in a vertical column at speeds high enough to keep a person safely floating.

Q:How early should I arrive for the Dallas Indoor Skydiving Experience?

A:It is important that you arrive on time for your scheduled session. Your experience will begin promptly upon your arrival so please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early for your reservation so you have time to check in.

Q:Do I fly alone or with a group during the Dallas Indoor Skydiving Experience?

A:Generally, a group of up to 12 guests fly in each session. Your friends and family will be part of the same group, however, you will fly one at a time in the flight chamber one-on-one with your instructor.

Q:How long is each flight during the Dallas Indoor Skydiving Experience?

A:Each flight within the wind tunnel lasts 60 seconds. The entire iFLY first-time flyer experience takes approx. 1 hour and 30 minutes from start to finish.

Q:Can I bring family/friends to watch, but not participate in the Dallas Indoor Skydiving Experience?

A:If someone chooses to come to watch, he or she is welcome to accompany you through your experience and can watch from the observation area.

Q:Is it scary during the Dallas Indoor Skydiving Experience?

A:Generally, no. There’s no jumping, no falling, and no experience is needed. You simply float on a column of air. There is no sensation of falling or anything that would make you feel motion sickness.

Q:Is it hard to breathe during the Dallas Indoor Skydiving Experience?

A:Not at all. It is the same as if you stick your head out a car window while driving. All you feel is the wind in your face. Just breathe normally, either through your mouth or your nose.

Q:Is the Dallas Indoor Skydiving Experience appropriate for younger children?

A:Flyers can be as young as 3 years of age and there is no upper age limit. Children under 18 years of age need to have a parent or guardian sign their waiver.

Worst First Time Ever

Our instructor didn’t give us any attention & didn’t seem interested in us because he was too preoccupied with another couple..when we were in class he made no eye contact with us & only spoke to the couple..We were already nervous being that it was our first time & he didn’t make our first experience enjoyable..the other instructors were awesome & I watched as they did a great job with their teams
