What To Expect

Meet your guide at your central Dubai hotel and board a comfortable air-conditioned 4x4. Enjoy the views as you leave the city skyscrapers behind and set off on your Dubai desert tour.

Gaze at the Dubai sands and hear all about the desert’s ecology and its history as you travel. After arriving at a traditional camel farm, see the hardy herbivores up close and take a memorable camel ride within the enclosures. Discover more about the different species of camels used in the region, and then return to your 4x4 to continue your desert journey.

Afterward, arrive at a desert campsite nestled amid the Dubai sand dunes and leave your 4x4 again to sample the thrills of sandboarding.

Following a safety briefing, practice riding a sandboard with tips from your guide. Once you’re confident, race your fellow travelers down the drifting dune slopes.

Then settle inside the camp as the sun sinks below the dunes and plains. If you wish, ask one of the henna artists to paint a tattoo on one of your hands or feet.

Watch a colorful tanoura folk dance and visit the onsite shawarma station or savor a succulent barbecue dinner. Dig into typical Arabian dishes such as hummus (chickpea dip) and marinated chicken. (See below for a sample menu.) As a finale, puff on a shisha (Arabic water pipe) if you wish, and watch a brilliant belly-dance performance around the campfire.

  • Pickup will be in a 4x4 Land Cruiser on sharing basis from different hotels.
  • Minimum 02 adults required.Children aged 4.99 years and under are not allowed to join the Tour.
  • Vegetarian option is available, please advise at time of booking if required
  • Dress code: lightweight summer clothing is suitable for most of the year, but sweaters or jackets may be needed for the winter months, especially in the evenings. Good quality sunglasses are advised. Hats are advisable when in direct sunlight.
  • Guests visiting the UAE during the Summer months (June – September) are advised that peak daytime temperatures sometimes reach 42 – 45 degrees Celsius. Humidity levels can also exceed 90 percent during this period. We recommend all our guests to take adequate precaution.
  • The Dubai desert can get cooler in the evenings during winter, so we recommend you bring a light jacket and closed shoes. Please wear sports shoes for safe sand boarding.
  • During the Islamic holidays / Ramadan fasting month,there will be a restriction on live entertainment ( Belly dance , Tanoura dance) and serving alcohol throughout the UAE. Therefore the Safari will be operated without these entertainments and serving of alcohol at the camp site during these days.
  • The duration of the actual tour takes 5 – 6 hour but the driving time from Dubai hotel and return may take another 60 – 90 minutes depending on traffic conditions and time of day.
  • Separate washroom facilities for men and women at the Camp site. Well maintained Exclusive Desert camp to experience maximum thrill and adventure
  • Celebrating special occasions ( Birthday,Wedding etc) we can arranged the cake ,additional charges applicable
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 50 travelers

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

I had sooooo much fun. The tour guide, Mohammed, was great. One the drive to the desert he pointed out different sites and was nice enough to answer all my questions about life in the Emirates. Dune bashing was a perfect thrill! The camp was nice although not a lot of time for all the activities.

Our driver Sherif was excellent. The 4x4 ride on the dunes was the best part. Our kids enjoyed it. Our guide had really excellent driving skills. A little disappointed with sand boarding (didn’t work) and the camel ride which was too short. All in all a great trip.

My greatest adventure I rode the ATV in the desert sand. Stopped by the camp site and wrote the camel. The funniness and most enjoyable time in my life. Most laughable is when the tour guide took my picture with my mouth wide open riding the camel and lowering him to the ground. Fun and hilarious at the same time

From start to finish it was a great trip the drive around the desert was fantastic just like being on a rollercoaster the camp and food was good and meeting the camels. We loved the end show were the 3 camels went over the top of the dunes to music and lights.

Not very nice , there is not a real ride camel there are only here to take photos . Almost of the time we are in the car on the road . There is no Arabic sweet to try and not a falcon show.

The only got thing was...

The only got thing was the quality of food however the range was limited. The driver as nice as he was didn't create a exciting experience. We asked him to turn up the music in the radio and he didn't. It was a silent excursion. Some of us have motion sickness he still drove really roughly. The van was quiet dirty. The camp was too big and did not have a cosy feel like the usual camps. Don't bother getting the henna, it fades before a few minutes. Camel riding is a few seconds literally. There's no toilet breaks from when they pick you up from the hotel till when you get to the camp so that's 2hrs. I've been to desert safari 4 previous times.. this was by far the worse .. felt like a budget version. Never again.

Razak was phenomenal! Great driver, really informative, courteous, and attentive. I couldn't imagine having as good of a Desert Safari without him as our guide, truly deserves to be paid well for such good work. The camp was really nice as well! Enjoyed the performances and watching people try the sandboarding. Oh, speaking of the campsite. The food was soooo so good. I'd say it was an experience worth every penny. There was a lot included in the package, the food was a highlight for me. Many delicious vegetarian options. Definitely give it a try if you can! My only problem was the wait time for pickup, but that was because of traffic and the rest of the day more than made of for the initial frustration. I would just suggest being communicative and patient if the same happens to you. Don't leave your room and waste time waiting in the lobby.
