Overview

While most desert safaris offer short dune buggy rides, this experience allows a full 1-hour ride through the desert near Lahbab, roughly 45 minutes from Dubai by car. Spend the rest of the morning riding camels, sandboarding, and taking photos in the desert light before taking your ride back to your hotel in Dubai.

Pickup details

Your pickup time is an estimation and might be variate +/- 20 min, we will inform you. Traveller pickup is included. Transfer by air-conditioned 4WD, Toyota Land Cruiser or Nissan Patrol All hotels in Dubai City and Port Rashid are applicable for pickup. The pickup and drop-off service is part of the total duration and is already included in Dubai City.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

We had the time of our lives with our guide Hashim! 1000 cc Buggie ride was just the right amount of adventure and distance for experienced drivers. Tearing up the vast dunes was a blast. Sandboarding was a challenge, but fun! Camels take you out for a desert trek, which was a fun experience. We took so many amazing photos! Overall 5/5! Our driver gave us so many amazing recommendations of other things to check out, and we haven’t been disappointed once! Thank you for such a memorable experience!

From the minute Shah collected us until he dropped us off, the entire experience was professional and such an Adrenalin rush. Two seater with me and my wife. Must be done and this company cannot be beaten

They went out of their way to make this the best experience I had in Dubai. The owner worked out some difficult last minute transportation changes for me with clear and fast communication. The tour guide adjusted the experience based on skill level and made it an absolute thrill ride. The pictures turned out great and I was able to check “Ride a camel” off my bucket list”. All very friendly people and I highly recommend.

Fantastic highlight of the trip

Dubai is full of experiences, places to see, and many things to do. This desert safari was one of the most memorable though. Every aspect of the tour went smoothly. Our desert guide showed us an amazing time and took dozens of photos and videos for us. The camel ride and sand boarding just topped off the experience too.

To start off with our transportation to the sand dunes we’re good.. we were greeted by Hashim who explained all the rules and liability thoroughly before we began our activity. The actual dune buggy guides on the same were awesome and they really helped us to capture the moment with great video and photos! The camel ride was nice! Only draw back was the cost for the scarf, a little pricey but glad we purchase it to help with the heat and sand! Could add that in the package!

Really fun trip! Very professionally organised, round trip picked up to and from our hotel in a nice car by the tour guide Hashim. Only one other person on our tour so it was nice a small group. Riding the buggies in the desert was super fun. Loads of opportunities to take photos in the desert and during the sandboarding which the guide will take for you on your phone/camera. We lost our phone whilst driving in the desert on the buggies and Hashim went out of his way to go back out and recover it for us - so grateful.

Fun-filled experience driving around an amazing desert landscape

Great experience heading out of Dubai to the Red Dunes and then spending a fun-filled morning driving around in a dune buggy and also trying out sand boarding. Our driver, Waqas, was great and made it memorable by being engaging and also taking some awesome photos. He got in touch the day before to confirm a pick up time from our hotel and arrived as planned so that we weren't waiting around. He also made sure that we were well looked after and had bottles of water when needed. We shared our car and part of the experience with a small family which was well managed and Waqas made sure that everyone was well attended. Arrived back at a good time (late AM) to enjoy the rest of our day.
