Sheikh Zayed Mosque - worth a visit

Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Fujairah was worth a visit. we were the only visitors during the month of Ramadan. The Grand mosque in Abu Dhabi was gorgeous & picturesque but busy with tourists. Here in Fujairah, we got to listen to birds chirping in a nice breeze. Serene & Austere. The rest of the tour was not much to talk about.

Despite initial concern if we were to be picked up from the cruise terminal or not, we finally got picked up by Sait (?) on time at the terminal. He was a knowledgeable guide, explaining in detail at each stop, minded our steps and followed us closely in the market. We were shown many places and happy with the tour.

Had two cars. One van had 12 people. The other suv had two people. The guide combined tour guide spoke from SUV which we could hardly herar in 12 passenger car. We mentioned why does the driver not swap cars since we have more people. He goes the other one meaning SUV is a private tour. Why would they combine two cars like this. The 12 passenger van driver was not even a guide or had any knowledge of Fujaira. When we questioned the SUV guide, he left us in the middle of the tour and disappeared. Very very disappointed.

Mr.Khan did a very good job and was very patient with his guests. We saw everything as described in the brochure and we would recommend this tour to others.

Obwohl wir diese Tour wegen Regen nicht an dem geplanten Tag erleben konnten, hat RAH Tourism einen anderen Tag für uns gefunden. Es war eine Minigruppe, weil wir die einzigen Reisenden waren, so dass man selbst bestimmen konnte, wo und wie lange man was erlebt. Der Tourguide Shams hat es meisterhaft geschafft. Es gab nicht zu viel und auch nicht zu wenig Information.

Avevamo prenotato la gîta per il venerdì. La sera prima abbiamo contattato il gestore per dare conferma dell'indirizzo. Dopo poco ci ha ricontatto per dirci che il venerdì la moschea era chiusa e contestualmente ci ha chiesto se volevamo andare lo stesso. Ovviamente abbiamo detto di no., visto che lo scopo della gita era vedere 2 moschee. Se non avessimo contattato l'operatore avremmo fatto un viaggio a vuoto. L'organizzatore a Dubai ci ha proposto il rimborso. Stiamo ancora aspettando. La cosa pessima è che abbiamo pagato anticipato e sto ancora aspettando il rimborso. Do 2 stelle per l'onestà di averci avvisato per il resto esperienza pessima disorganizzazione tipica di Dubai
