A great sunrise experience! Hot air balloon is always an authentic experience as it takes us to the origin of aviation! Hot Air Balloon in Dubai is a unique experience where one gets to see sunrise at the desert horizon. spent around 45min in the air before landing smoothly thanks to the experience captain! only thing missing is the champagne and celebration thereafter. still a recommended activity for those wanting a different perspective of Dubai.

This was a magical experience!! I was so nervous at first the captain and crew put me at ease. They were super attentive and experts at it. Also, glad they reminded us to wear warm clothes. Actually, a coat ideal, in the middle of the dessert cold. Bring something to cover your head too, the heat from the fire of the hot air balloon was serious. Try to stand away from it.

Wow what a perfect morning we had. No wind, sunny day, gorgeous sunrise over the mountains. Book this trip. We opted out of the breakfast and camel ride being we just did a camel ride in Egypt. Excellent company. They picked us up, explained the safe guidelines and had us practice for landing. Very well run and safe organization.

Amazing experience! There was only 7 of us in the balloon basket including the pilot. Anyone complaining about the landing just shouldn’t go it’s not traumatic but can be a big rough but what do you expect you know how it feels when a plane lands roughly and this is a balloon with no breaks so you can imagine but I loved every second of it even the landing! We didn’t do the VIP breakfast option (wish we had) but they still had water, coffee, and restrooms available before the flight when signing your waivers. They have a option to purchase the entire flight video from their GoPro for 200 & we would’ve loved to buy it but where we were placed it was facing our backs and recording another couple the entire time so it wouldn’t have been much for memories but my husband and I laughed how we hope the other couple at least purchased it. You get to watch the entire hot air balloon be set up from start to finish & the sunrise was amazing too! Plus we saw lots of camels & even gazelles. Not for pregnant women or people with back problems due to the landing & having to climb into the basket quickly once the balloon was inflated.

We got picked up from hotel at 4am to celebrate my partners 30th Birthday. Perfectly on time. Traveled into the desert for about 45 mins to receive our safety briefing and tea/cofee/water was served at the Sindbad hot air balloon camp. Very informative and they let you know exactly what you was to expect.
We then drove a further 10 mins into the desert to the location of the balloons being set up, on route you look to the left and see a huge drone lighting display showing hot air balloons/ camels etc, nice little extra to add to the experience.
We then watched as the balloons were prepared and filled with air in preparation for lift off, truly amazing to watch and plenty of photo opportunities which look incredible in the darkness.
Once aboard we took off into the dark skys and rose to 4000ft, with the most stunning views and most peaceful atmosphere ever!
The pilot was very informative and loved to answer all the questions we threw at him. At 6:20am we experienced the most unreal sunrise ever and I got down on one knee and proposed to my Fiancé, who said yes. The pilot started of the celebrations and before we knew it the other 18 passengers on board all joined in clapping and cheering.
The views are amazing and it was so special to see wild camels and wild oryx roaming the desert.

A breathtaking flight offset by a very rough and unsafe landing. I would have given the tour a 5 star had it not been the safety concerns. There were two landings - the first was unsuccessful and we had to re-lived the horror through a second one. The second landing was equally rough resulting in personal belongings damaged or falling off and some passengers (including me) with minor injuries. Some recommendations to the tour operator:
1) Please review the age limit for children. A young child was crying in horror after the first landing.
2) Provide a comprehensive safety briefing. If this is not possible on-site due to time constrains, then at least a comprehensive email on safety along with diagrams etc. There was zero demonstration on landing procedures apart from cursory overview on the possible landing scenarios. The tour operator should also inform passengers to safekeep our belongings at landing and wear appropriate clothings to reduce risk of lacerations.
3) Limited concern was shown to the passengers after the landings. I am not saying that the tour operator needs to accept responsibility but the pilot needs to show concern and offer assistance. This is an area where additional training is needed. I am not able to comment on the pilot's skill of as this is my first balloon ride, but willing to give the benefit of doubt in view of the high wind speed.
4) Finally, if the tour is considered a higher risk activity, then both tour operator and platform (Trip adviser/Viator) needs to highlight this clearly before confirming the trip and perhaps advise participants to take up insurance. Participants cannot be made to sign a disclaimer form on-site 10 minutes before the flight. Noone will appreciate the risk at that time !
Overall a breathtaking but ultimately traumatic first balloon experience.

We know that the clarification is not enough for this but we only need to update that hot air balloon always flying as per weather conditions and as per our investigation the weather was changed on that day suddenly which caused the bumpy landing usually and the pilot was successfully landed at first try but the wind doesn't allowed him to keep on ground so he had to go up again and then land. Our pilots are really professional and they are very aware about these weather conditions and how to land. We are sincerely apologies once again and we wish to welcome you once agian when the weather will be perfect so you may enjoy this wonderful ride easily.

Great experience with the balloon ride. Was organized and on time. Not much conversation with the driver or any explanation from him, but all relevant information was given by the pilot. Bathrooms were filthy.
