  • Please let us know if you have limited mobility e.g. injury, arthritis or recent surgery? There are two high ladder style steps into the helicopter. This information could effect what helicopter we fly you in.
  • Our helicopter seats are 40cm wide. If you would like extra space or are wider than this we highly recommend booking a comfort seat which guarantees an empty seat next to you.
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 12 travelers

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.

Greg our helicopter pilot was very informative explaining the glaciers we saw. We were not able to land on the snow because of ice conditions but did land on a rocky landing site up the mountain that gave fantastic views of Mount Cook. Well organized and highly recommended

Fantastic trip - it was everything we thought it would be and more. The sun gods shined down on us which meant we got to see some AMAZING views.... and thanked them with a snow angel on top of the mountain

We did not manage to fly as the weather conditions did not permit us to do so. Our booking was cancelled twice and we were so frustrated as we traveled all the way to Franz Joseph just to experience this.

We got the flight on 28 Dec 2023, and it was a great flight and views with Poppy as our pilot. We were lucky as the weather was bright and sunny, coz the next day it was running and cloudy all day. Very nice experience to play and took many pictures while landing on ice. Unforgettable moment.

Surreal majestic moments in life can be rare, so if you are afforded the opportunity, this is absolutely the experience for you! Floating above the peaks of the snow covered alps, hugged by fluffy white clouds, on a back drop of perfect blue sky! A team of personable professionals, from check in to flight time. They simply did not disappoint. Our experience was faultless! Our experience was amazing! Our gratitude and thanks to your whole team for going above and beyond. I stood there on the ice, above the clouds, looking out across the snow drenched mountains. I accepted that life may never get any better than that exact moment, and I was happy with that thought! In the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years.
