Overview

Visit the legendary Stingray City, go snorkeling, and have lunch at a yacht club during this half-day excursion on Grand Cayman. Board a cabin cruiser and head out to the sandbar at Stingray City, where stingrays swim by in the open shallow waters. At Coral Gardens and the Barrier Reef, don the provided snorkel equipment and jump in. Explore the underwater world, rich with marine life like coral and tropical fish. Cruise over to the Kaibo Yacht Club to refuel with a local seafood lunch before returning to the dock.

Cruise ship passengers must provide the following information at time of booking: ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time.
Collapsible wheelchairs with removable wheels can be accommodated provided the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them board and disembark.

Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
You must check in at least 45 minutes before the tour's start time.
From cruise terminals, walk LEFT for 2-8 minutes depending on which terminal your ship tenders to, until you see the Waterfront Centre building, a 2-story yellow building with a blue roof. We are on the ground floor near the south end of the building. For check-ins at the Cayman Falls office, it is opposite the Westin Hotel on Seven Mile Beach.

Amazing tour! I would recommend especially if this is your first time to the island. Staff was warm, welcoming and very helpful. Delicious buffet lunch at the end of the tour as well (local chef).

Fantastic Fun swimming with rays

This trip was absolutely fantastic. Captain Leo, first mate and stingray expert Keith, and photographer Burger, we're awesome, so knowledgeable and fun! We dove for conch shells, and had conch civiche for lunch. At coral gardens we swam with stingrays and all the fish nibbling off the conch, even saw barracuda. Stingray city is a beautiful, white sandbar that is waist deep, where we fed the rays and were surrounded by these gentle giants. All of this is inside the barrier reef where the eater in only 10 ft deep. We felt so safe and the visibility was amazing. A great experience, particularly for novice snorkelers. Lunch at the park was a delicious, home-cooked, island style buffet. Highly recommend Captain Marvin's!!!

An unforgettable adventure

Had a spectacular day on the water with Keith, Leo, & Berga on the Cayman Bear. The entire process from hotel shuttle service to the fantastic snorkelling and swimming with the stingrays - a perfect adventure for an unforgettable vacation. We even learned a lot about the wonderful sea creatures inhabiting the Cayman waters. Our lunch on the beach featured wonderful local food specialities including a taste of freshly caught conch! Cpt. Marvin's is the best of the best here on GC. Can't wait for our next visit!

My husband and I loved this tour! It was definitely first class from being picked up in a luxury van to the absolutely beautiful boat. we were taken out in. The day was full with fun activities conch diving, snorkeling, with beautiful fish and coral, and then swimming with the stingrays not to mention the fun pictures that were taken. The finale was the lunch that was prepared for us on the beach all homemade, what a wonderful gathering of the crew and new friends that we had enjoyed our experiences with. Small group, excellent! GREAT CAPTAIN, GREAT FIRST MATE KEITH! 👍👍👍👍👍

Seeing stingrays very up close and interacting with them was an amazing experience! The boat ride was fine but when the boat was standing still, it induced a lot of nausea and even vomiting, which was extremely uncomfortable. However, it was relatively short-lived.

Great experience. Your operator made contact right after booking with clear instructions where and when to meet. Transfer bus very clean and dry nice driver. Upon arrival at the dock escorted to our boat. Very clean and modern with professional crew. Made me feel right at home. 3 stops. I’ve never dove for conch so great explanation on which once’s to look for and bring up. Crew showed us how to remove the conch from shell. They made ceviche. So tender. 2nd stop snorkel around reefs. Met with 10 stingrays swimming around boat. Jumped right in to swim with them. So tame and fun. 3rd stop stingray city. Waist deep water and crew grabbed stingray and gave us information on how to hold them. Take your phone and take pictures.

My sister and I did this tour, and would 100% book again. We enjoyed diving for conch, seeing the coral, and experiencing multiple encounters with the sting rays. They provided lunch at a nearby park next to Kaibo Restaurant, which has tasty cocktails to pair with your lunch. The crew was professional and nice. We had a blast.

This was one of the better tours we have taken. You get a lot for the money. We went to 4 different stops which included lunch. The food was terrific; It is homemade and my compliments to the chef. You get so much, so no worries on being hungry…definitely not a sandwich and fruit deal we’ve had with others. You will not be disappointed with this option.

Tour was great. The tour guides Keith, Leo and Berger were awesome guides. Was disappointed that our tour started late and we had to come back early. There was a group with us who came off the cruise ship. Their ship arrived late and they had to be back at the cruise ship terminal by 3:15pm. So our tour started late and we had to rush back. Also our lunch was misleading. When I booked it stated “fresh seafood lunch on the beach at the Kaibo yacht club”. Lunch is not provided at the Yacht club. There was a buffet style lunch (chicken, fish and rice) set up for us next to the yacht club on some covered picnic benches. I was caught off guard and also another group on the boat also thought we would eat lunch at the yacht club. Overall the tour was great. Ate some fresh conch and swam with the stingrays. Tour guides were awesome. Captain Marvin company should reword this, so this is not so misleading.

Can’t rave enough about Captain Marvin’s - Capt. Leo, Michele & Berger … we had an absolutely wonderful time - did conch dive, reef snorkel, stingray play and lunch (5 hour tour) …. let me tell you our day was AWESOME and lunch was delish!!! truly the best lunch on the island - fresh conch salad and it was the conch we collected an hour earlier - plus Snorkeling, and playing with the stingrays so great! - we had a total of 12 guests on the boat and it was a perfect. Water was a little choppy but the boat crew did a phenomenal job from start to finish!

This excursion was amazing! The crew was great and extremely helpful. I went alone for my birthday and really enjoyed it. We all got a chance to take pictures with the stingrays. They provided water and juice on the boat and then we stopped for lunch at the end. The lunch was amazing! I would definitely do this again when I visit Grand Cayman.
