Amazing tour guides, Amazing food

If you want to experience the best food, eat where the locals eat, and immerse yourself in the food culture of Ho Chi Minh, then this is the “must do” tour. Our guides Grace and Destiny were amazing, with their knowledge of local eateries and history of the city, not to mention experts on the scooters. We were in very safe hands. So many different foods to eat, which were all delicious. We finished the tour 10kg heavier than when we left 😂. Really impressed with this tour and our guides, we highly recommend.

Jason and Destiny were excellent guides, we felt really safe riding with them through the wonderfully chaotic streets of Saigon. We visited 4 districts and sampled lots of different street food.. Their explanation about the food was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed getting to know a bit more about this city. The food! Wow!

Don’t miss an evening on the back of a motor scooter savouring the delicious taste of true Vietnamese Street Food. We had an incredible evening with Tessie and Bao, a young articulate, knowledgeable, caring and ever so friendly couple, with an excellent command of English, who took this elderly couple!!! on a spin through the evening chaos that is HCMC. Yes initially a little apprehensive about travelling on the back of a motor scooter in the traffic that is Ho Chi Minh City, but that was quickly dispelled, I’ve never felt safer☺️ We felt like we were in our 20s again it was so much fun, we felt like the ‘locals’ in the little out of the way back alleys, away from the touristy areas. The food was really delicious .. you won’t be disappointed, but go with an empty belly as the food is plentiful. We felt completely safe at all times, these two really are a credit to their employer. Highlights .. absolutely everything!!! from the food, they explained the components of every dish, the condiments, the herbs, and if the food wasn’t enough we got to enjoy a little history of the areas visited, the flower market, the apartment blocks where the locals live, socialise and dine on the footpaths outside their small businesses and homes, we learnt about the lotus flower, one of the oldest apartments, delved into a little more of the history of this country, but most importantly our two wonderful guides for the evening Tessie and Bao, what a gift you’ve given us.. being able to experience the smiles, sights, smells and tastes of Ho Chi Minh, I would highly reccomend this tour. Thank you for making out street food tour a real highlight of our time here in HCMC ❤️

A tour I will never forget!

Our guides Sam and Sunny were so knowledgeable and spoke perfect English. Sam and her assistant Sunny took such good care of us. They took us to so many food tastings that were all great! They not only took us to great food tastings, but also to places of historic events that took places in different neighborhoods. And at the end of our tour they even dropped us off at the cruise ship terminal which was a big plus! I highly recommend this tour! I’m going to really miss these two young ladies. They were great tour guides!

The most memorable part of my trip would be them taking the time to have a customer cake made with my husband name on it with his age on our last stop. It was the most thoughtful thing when both ladies Thuy and Huong. They were such wonderful young ladies who provided amazing service on our private food tour. We are so pleased to have booked this experience and it was so unforgettable. The food in all stops was incredible and well worth it! You absolutely get what you pay for with this experience!

Deliciously Local Wonerful Experience

Unbelievable! Jason and Anh were the best guides ever. They worked as a team to safely drive us via moped through rush hour traffic to out of the way, local food places we never could have experienced without them. We appreciated their explanation of the basket of salad greens and how to eat them with the Vietnamese pancakes and enjoyed the wide variety of foods and local people on food street. The coconut ice cream can’t be beat and again eating it on the curb with local families made it even more enjoyable. Very generous amounts of food is offered and a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. I highly recommend this tour and ask for Jason and Anh to be your guides. They even had a few personal touch surprises for us at almost every stop which shows their passion for their job and commitment to their guests.

A brilliant street food tour

Me and my wife honestly had the best time on this tour with our guides Lisa and Harry who were outstanding. We learnt so much from them about the food culture, how locals eat each dish and did not stop laughing along the way. They even catered to include a few more adventurous dishes for me…and they got it egg-xactly right! The motorbike allowed us to see a greater variety of locations across the city that you couldn’t walk between so we recommend doing it

Loved this trip with Lisa and Kimberly! They were so nice and knowledgeable and knew all the good street food spots! I’m from Southeast Asia and thought I knew all the Vietnamese food basics but I learned so much tonight and didn’t have a single thing on the tour that I’d tried before! I’m also scared of motorbikes but Lisa made me feel super safe

We did the private tour! Just me and my beautiful wife + Van and Quang as our tour guides! We felt so safe and it was so much fun!!! I learned so much about Sài Gòn/HCMC! You could tell that safety was very important to them! We ate SOOOO much different food! Bố kho , banh cuốn , banh xeo , etc basically all the food I grew up eating with my family! Anh and Thuy were amazing tour guides. Their knowledge and passion related to both street food and Vietnamese culture overall, was impressive. Delicious fun evening

Larry and Ahn introduced us to the Saigon street food nightlife. It is difficult to pick out a best part, really the whole experience was tremendous, the variety of food from fresh greens with pancakes to rich beef stew to prawns and scallops to coconut ice cream to name a few stops. We were stuffed by the end. Being on the back of a motor bike at night was an excellent way to explore the various districts, the narrow alleyways, the apartment blocks on district 3 and the general chaos of the streets. At no time did I feel unsafe. Larry's ongoing commentary, wit and sarcasm truly made it a wonderful experience. I whole heatedly recommend this tour.

We had an amazing time with Tanya and Robert on the Street Food Motorbike Tour! They both were so friendly and willing to answer any and all of our questions. Robert has a great sense of humor! The food was very tasty and we enjoyed all the stops in the program (including a surprise generous addition of Balut!). We had a blast cruising through the city at night on the back of the motorbike. We felt very safe with Tanya and Robert. We also enjoyed getting a mini tour of the city on our way to the various destinations. We would highly recommend this tour and our favorite part was getting to know Tanya and Robert and learning more about Vietnamese culture!
