    Our guide Safa was very prepared. He loves his job and he has transmitted to us his passions telling us a lot of details about Mekong region
    Not cruise passenger friendly. Way too far from the port.

    Beware!!! It says that they can pick you up. We were on the cruise ship and they were too far from the cruise port. Ended up hiring a taxi instead.

    This is probably my favourite excursion so far. We only had 7 in the group. Our guide Tri was so kind and informative. Learning how to make chocolate and coconut candy was interesting. I regret not buying chocolate. The paddle down the canal was so peaceful. Definitely recommend.

    This tour is absolutely worth the money - lots of time on the water, away from the big groups of tourists, delicious lunch at a local farm and we visited many different local businesses. Our guide Tommy did a fantastic job guiding us through the day with tons of (fun) facts. Recommended!

    We had an amazing day with Joy Journeys! Our tour guide Tri was very kind with great English skills. We fit the schedule without feeling pressured to move from one spot to another, all the places were beautiful and dish we ate delicious. We weren't a lot of different tourist groups to follow the same schedule, so it was relaxing and convenient for taking pictures. Would definately recommend!

    The tour has been really wonderful! Tom was a great guide, funny, and with a very good English. It was really "less touristy" as they promised, there was nobody else while going on the boat of Mekong. For sure I would recommend it to anybody.

    Our guide was Safa. He was very knowedgeable and conversational and answered all of our questions. He communicated well, even the day before the actual tour. He took picuters of our group of 3, and sent the pics to us. I am appreciative. So, yes. This was unique because our guide, Safa, texted the night previous to introduce himself to us. Safa was also communicative as the vehicle was running late due to Ho Chi Minh City morning traffic. At no point was I confused our uniformed about what was happening. Keep in mind its about 3 hours to get to and from the Mekong Delta. But the vehicle was comfy, there was only three of us for this particular tour so there was plenty of room to stretch, and it is nice to see the density of HCMC fade away to lush delta. It was insightful to see, on an actual farm, how chocolate and coconut products are made. Also wonderful that there was no real "push" to purchase the products. Very comfortable and enjoyable. I loved the serving of the fresh fruits for the initial boat ride. It was my first time eating these fruits and it was unique and unexpected to learn more about them and how to consume them. The bike ride was awesome as well! I mean, when do you get to ride a bike in the Mekong Delta area. Good exercise, and good opportunity to see local "architecture" and regual people getting about. I, personally, thought the food was MAGNIFICENT. The eating location was FANTASTIC. I really did feel "But I do eat meat and fish. Beer was also served. All in all it was a wonderful trip. As I have said before, Safa is not only was Safa a good guide. But he is also a good human being. It was wonderful hearing his story, the stories of the other members of our group, and stories about life in the Mekong. It was a good and memorable trip. And, yes, we encountered very few other tourists. It reall did feel "special."

    Tri was the best tour guide we could have asked for. He shared many interesting facts and stories about Vietnam. The hotel pick up was great. No need to stress about finding the meeting place. The brick factory was really interesting as was the coconut candy factory. The bike ride through the village was not too long. The boat rides were the highlight of the trip for me. There was absolutely no pressure to purchase anything at all. There were 2-3 opportunities to get souvenirs if desired. Highly recommended.

    My group and I were lucky enough to do this tour with Misty- she is just amazing and has the best energy!! She is very knowledgeable and gave us the best insights on Vietnam and all the places we visited. We were lucky enough to be just 5 people the day I went and it really felt like a private tour. I also liked that we were taken in an area with very little to no tourists. Oh and Misty is a great photographer as well!! Cam on for making our day so lovely!!

    .. thought the whole tour was well structured to offer unique experiences .. loved the drive into the Mekong to view the river system and lush greenery .. local boats on the water brought us up close to the vegetation and village life .. our time in the village provided insights into eco-friendly brick production, coconut confectionery, chocolate making and a great lunch, eating an elephant ear fish from their fish farm ..

    Great experience on the tour especially with Nia our tour guide. He was so friendly and knowledgeable, but best of all he will give you 100 food recommendations within Saigon. The tour group was small, maybe 7 people due to a cancellation. You ride in a very nice van for an hour to the first destination. there were multiple stops meeting local makers and artisans. There were a few other tour groups along the way, but they usually only had a few other people. The boat rides were great, i loved the bike ride (wish it was longer), but the best was the lunch at the homestay. this is something the other tours do not do! i had a friend book a different tour right after me (he didn't ask which one i took) and his tour just had lunch at a restaurant full of other tour groups. this tour lunch is made at a private homestay by a family, with the table in the middle of a small pond. it was very unique and special. this tour costs a little more than some of the others that go to the mekong delta, but if you don't want to feel like you're just one tour in a sea of other tour groups, this is the one for you.

    Very friendly atmosphere, from guide Tommy, to driver to all the people we met on the Mekong Delta. Lovely off the beaten track tour. Lunch at local farm was truly delicious. The lady is an excellent cook. A really good day. Very well organised.

    After reading reviews on almost every tour to the Mekong delta I have chosen this one, and I can say that it even exceeded my expectations. The communication with company was fast and clear, the bus arrived as planned, the group was even smaller than advertised. On the locations we have seen only one other group, as this tour is conducted further in the delta, and all of the local people were very nice and friendly, noone pushed us to buy something or give tips, noone seemed unhappy if we did not. Special 'thank you!' goes to our guide Tom - with good English and good knowledge he made our tour perfect, providing the explanations to everything and answering our questions. The only thing that, in my opinion, could be improved - the menu for the lunch. As in our group were people with different dietary restrictions, it seemed that the portions for that people were slightly different in size: vegetarians/pescaterians finished their whole food, while people that eat meat couldn't manage it. As I understand that all people are different, maybe it would be a good idea not to serve all the food by portions, but leave some part of the food for the people to help themselves. And for anyone interested in the length of the river cruise parts - it was much longer than expected! Thanks once again, Tom and Joy Journeys!

    This tour lived up to its name! We didn't see many other tourists at all. We loved learning about brick making and candy and chocolate making. Biking was such a fun way to see the area. One of the best parts was the yummy fresh fruit while boating and the delicious lunch! Pay extra for the prawns- totally worth it!!! Our guide Quy was fantastic- he made us feel so important and special. Vietnam is an incredible place- can't recommend this tour enough, we loved it!!!!

    C’est une excursion très intéressante et agréable. Notre guide Travis était très bien avec un anglais impeccable. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le fait d’être un petit groupe. Je recommande vivement cette excursion bien organisée.
