We had an awesome time with Mike. He was very knowledgeable and laid back. There was a lot of interaction since we had a small group. Everyone on the tour knew each other by the time it was over. This was our best tour on the island.

This was a fantastic trip, but the title is not correct. We did not see turtles or dolphins, and seeing Kualoa Ranch and the small bit of chocolate tasting were the very least parts of the experience. Our guide Mike took us to get Dole whip at the plantation, showed us the most amazing snorkeling spot on the North Shore where we stayed for over an hour, directed us to the best place to get garlic shrimp for lunch, and let us climb down the rocks to the really beautiful beach filmed in “From Here to Eternity”. We finished off the trip by stopping by a macadamia nut farm and with a visit to a very hidden distillery for spirit tastings. Mike told us so many fabulous stories about the history of Waikiki and Oahu throughout the whole trip. This tour more than lived up to expectations!!

The first words of this tour's name are "Kualoa Ranch", which is described by many as a must-visit spot on Oahu. If you are like me, you might consider this tour a great opportunity to see the ranch and learn more about it. However, you only spend 1 hour at this ranch, and the stop is really used for lunch (which on our trip took about 40–45 minutes to wait in line, get the food, and eat). This left us about 15 minutes to walk around and take a few photos, and before we knew it, it was time to get in the van. Based on what I learned on Oahu, it would be best to rent a car, reserve the activities you are interested in at Kualoa Ranch, and go there by yourself. This tour also stated that it would offer an admission ticket to the ranch, but there was no ticket because we essentially just walked to the gift shop and to a small area, which is a fraction of what the ranch has to offer.
This may not be justified for a 1-star response, but beyond this, our tour guide, Javier, had a terrible attitude when responding to these concerns and marked them as invalid because other members of the tour were having fun while avoiding responding to my group's issues with the tour. Furthermore, he was not a great driver (constant break checks to make sure the passengers were awake, I suppose), and it almost felt like he avoided using the A/C in the car unless asked because of the gas it would use. He needed to be asked by passengers at each stop to turn on the AC. This was very different from another tour I took, which left the car running at shorter stops and ensured passengers were comfortable, with a much smoother ride, I might add.

It was good to go out and see other parts of Waikiki. We did not see whales or turtles. Whales watching season was over per our guide and it probably would have been nice to know that prior or the tour taken down until the season comes again.

I wish I can give zero star!! Stop at Kualoa Ranch only for lunch. Because only give you 1 hour so after lunch you barely have time to do anything. And the farm and chocolate tasting basically a joke! Plus the van is broken down and air condition is barely working the whole time. The whole day had been ruined. Don’t waste your money here!!

Unfortunately, there just isn't enough time to spend more time at Kualoa Ranch as we would miss out on all the other wonderful stops on this tour. We've found that 1 hour is just enough time to enjoy a yummy local lunch, and explore and shop a little. We hope you enjoyed the rest of your time in Hawaii. Mahalo

Make sure you camera is charged have on some comfortable shoes bring a towel for the beach stop and sit back and enjoy ask for mike the tour guide he’s the best
