Unforgettable experience

We were hesitating whether we preferred to see Jakarta by ourselves or with a local guide, but it was the best decision we could have made to book this trip! Our amazing and cheerful guide Neti, made the experience unforgettable! We had a lot of fun for the whole day and were taught a lot of fascinating facts. We had a chance to explore many different districts of Jakarta, not just the modern part. The trip was so well-organized (we were lucky to be there on a local holiday though) that after we finished the main plan, we ended up having extra time and were able to add extra activities. I definitely recommend the tour, especially if you only have one day and you want to make the most of it.

Great Jakarta city tour

Great private tour including main Jakarta attractions/monuments. We appreciated in particular the visit of handmade puppets' shop. The only thing not that interesting that we did was the boat ride as there are not many things to see - our skipper was nice. Special thanks to our guide and the driver.

Besides Chinatown and the wet market, Jakarta is very unimpressive. It is a big dirty and mostly polluted city. The guy did her best to show us things that might be of interest, but compared to many other spots in Asia. Jakarta is low on my list.

We truly enjoyed our day in Jakarta. Great driver and Eddie wa a very knowledgeable tour guide. Exactly as advertised. Clean and comfortable car. Lunch was excellent with lots of options both local and Western. The weather turned from sunny and hot to a monsoon within a matter of minutes. Eddie bought us ponchos and the driver met up with an umbrella. 100% recommended

Great Tour of Jakarta

Our guide, Alis, did a wonderful job showing us so much of Jakarta in a short period of time. We saw most of the top sites and finished our tour with a ride in one of the old wooden boats in the old harbor. Her courteous manner, knowledge and desire to make our visit as special as possible was key to a memorable day.

Great customized tour of Jakarta!

We had a wonderful time on our customized Jakarta tour. I used a wheelchair due to having a hard time walking, but easily adjusted the tour. We walked thru Chinatown and viewed the major sites. He took us to a great local restaurant and ate to our hearts content. As a request he took us to a Batik shirt shop so my husband could purchase a Batik shirt. Unknown to us we went to one of the top Jakarta Batik designers. My husband never had so many compliments on his shirts. What a worthwhile stop.

A taste of a city in a few hours- in comfort

Neti gave us a wonderful appreciation of Jakarta on the tour. We particularly enjoyed the sampan trip round the harbour. Our driver was calm and competent and they made a great team. If you want a snapshot of a city in a few hours this is a good tour to do. Neti was very knowledgeable and a good communicator and she was flexible with our agenda according to our needs. Brilliant day!!

Amazing and very special experience! I travel a lot and have participated in many organized tours. This is a very special tour that offers authentic insights into the everyday reality, challenges and beauty of life for various communities in Jakarta including the fishermen communities near the port and the communities of Chinese migrants at the China town. Additionally, the tour entails visits at the most significant historic, cultural and religious sites. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

My husband and I were visiting Jakarta for the first time and decided to do a City tour to orientate ourselves and learn a little about this city of which we knew little. We were so glad we did - and particularly that we booked this tour. Our guide, Patty, was the best. She talked all day, answering our questions and constantly thinking of interesting things to share with us. We enjoyed our day so much - mostly due to this wonderful woman. The car and driver were also excellent. If you come to Jakarta you should absolutely take this tour - and ask for Patty!
