This was one of the best tours I have ever taken. Our tour guide Richard was friendly and incredibly knowledgeable, not just about the subject matter of the tour (architecture and famous houses), but on every Key West question I could think about! He even gave some restaurant recommendations at the end which was much appreciated. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning about Key West’s history.

We learned so much history. Richard was extremely knowledgeable and easy to listen to. We have been to Key West many times and read several historic signs. After this tour we feel a new connection to the island. I highly recommend this tour.

We love Key West and have visited all the historic sites and museums. This guided walk was one of the most informative and fun activities we have done to date. The guide was knowledgeable with both history and social aspects of Key West. The stories varied from pure history to social legends telling us which were true and which were lore. The guide was personable, approachable and responsive to questions outside about anything Key West related. One of the best tours we have ever experienced. We would do it AGAIN!!!

We were 1st timers to Key West with friends who go every year. Everyone really enjoyed Richard's tour! We all learned a lot about the settlement of KW, the history and architecture of the area. Richard makes it very entertaining as well. We did the 10:00 tour and we were shaded during most of the tour. Afterward, he sent us a restaurant recommendation list! We highly recommend this tour!!

Our guide was a true expert on the history of Key West. I go on approximately 4-6 walking tours a year (usually with a history or food and culture theme). This was, by far, the best walking tour I have experienced. If there was only one thing you did while you were in Key West - this should be it.

Our guide Richard was so knowledgeable about the history of Key West and shared a number of personal stories about Key West families and residents. His accounts of the wreckers and how the economic landscape of Key West has changed over the years was fascinating. I became ill on the tour the day before and Richard graciously let us join the tour today. Best tour by far in Key West!
