While our private tour had its ups and downs, there were notable highlights. Initially, we booked the tour with high expectations, but it turned out to be shorter than anticipated due to the small group size. On the bright side, our guide was incredibly helpful and eager to address any queries we had. The food offerings consisted of authentic street delicacies, although some raised concerns about hygiene. If time constraints aren't an issue, you'll find these delectable treats readily available at most local markets.

Wandring the streets and seeing the many different types of food was interesting. However, tasting so many different items was a delight - we would never have tried many of these items if we were on our own. Also, we were very fortunate that our guide is a chef. This made his comments and information so much more meaningful. There was a little confusion about the meeting point, as there are several entrances. However, we sorted it out. Thjis could be improved by stating that the meeting place is at the Information Desk by the main entrance.

We got to try many local dishes near the central market. We like spicy so we added the heat. Mostly savory which we prefer, and even the sweets were not too sweet. Local noodle dishes were the best. We enjoy foodie tours wherever we travel to try many local dishes. Good time with TK, our guide, he even sent us suggestions for Singapore restaurants for our next cruise stop.

A very enjoyable Food Tour around streets of Kuala Lumpur. Povan Ramaih was an excellent tour guide. Starting our tour after first meeting up at the central market, Povan Ramaih expertly guided me through the market place and through the streets taking in China Town and other top places of interest. I was taken on a cultural journey stopping at several restaurants and street food vendors taking in the various different foods that were on offer each one being a fabulous new taste experience. Povan Ramaih expertly guided me with his knowledge and told me the history of each place we visited with his experience and passion for the Malaysian way to life. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Povan and for everyone this food tour is a must !!

We had a lovely evening tasting a huge variety of foods, including Indian, Chinese, Malay cuisine, local fruits and refreshing drinks. We also visited a Hindu Temple. The tour took about 2.5 hours. Our guide ensured that he knew what we like and dislike before the tour started, and tailored the foods to suit us.

May is a terrific guide, telling us about the different cultures that make up Kuala Lumpur. She did a great job of adapting the itinerary to our food preferences - it's hard to do Chinese food without pork, but she showed us samples! Tried a lot of things we had never had before. Really enjoyed our time with her, and would definitely give her a thumbs up!
