Good half day tour!

Our driver Nagen picked us up at our hotel on time. He was polite and well mannered. The car was clean. As the tour states there is NO tour guide only a driver. Nagen drove us to the 2 mosques in Putrajaya the Millennium Mosque and the Pink Granite Mosque, which was stunning, and to a few other places in the Putrajaya area. He explained a little bit about the area. The tour took approx 3 and a half hours. There was no river boats tours on the day we went as it was Ramadan and they were not operating. This tour is worth doing if you have a spare day in KL or if you want to see something different.

A nice tour, but wrong agent

We visited the Pink Mosque and the Millennium Tower, after we took a lake boat cruise from where the Pink Mosque looks picturesque, and we ended the tour at the Iron Mosque which has a modern and stylist architecture. The tour had the possibility to choose as departure time at 7.30, so we chose that time and arrived in Putra at 8, having nothing to do as the mosques and the lake tour opened at 10. We spent 2 hours only visiting the Millennium Tower and as the time reached 10 o’clock we followed the program of visits. The total tour duration was 2-2,30 hours, so the agency called us asking us to pay more, as we were out of time. He was very unpolite and arrogant, saying us that we should be back earlier. In that case we couldn’t pay a visit to the Mosques and we couldn’t have the lake tour and we had a look outside the Mosques and lake only. The Viator should stop cooperating with this agent as they don’t follow the program. Why at least they have the early time of visits ,as it’s impossible to visit these places at that time? I suppose because they want to earn more money cheating us.

The tour does not include a tour guide, just a driver who brings you to the sites themselves. The driver arrived on time to my hotel, but I was not impressed with the car- an average vehicle, not exceptionally clean, and the driver stopped for gas during the trip. The driver brought me to all of the attractions, but left me at each to browse and wander on my own, with little direction, where to go. I went inside the Pink Mosque and did receive a nice overview from one of the tour guides inside the mosque. There is no food/water included on this tour, which you can buy on the way at various stops. Not too much walking, but you will have stops for photos at various locations.

This trip was a bit chaotic. 3 of the stops were on different parts of the same round about. But there was not logical flow to how the stops were described or when/why we stopped. We also then left the round about precinct and went to an area that we could/should have done when we first arrived in the area. Also having to pay for the cruise myself seemed a bit unnecessary considering how much this trip cost and what was included. It was definitely a driver not a tour guide experience

This tour is not perhaps of the quality it should be. The description does not make out that it is not a full tour but just a transport service with a small amount of explanation. Also, the driver did not know the opening times and so I missed seeing inside one of the Mosques and had he known this, it would have been easy to alter the schedule.

Thevtrip was really nice. The driver is so informative and patient. He took us to several places in beatiful Putrajaya and was very flexible our interest. The city is different than KL and very quiet and modern. The scenery and pink mosque were my favorite. We change the meet time twice and the driver( James) was very polite and willing to accept the change. He even helped us in taking the photos. I strongly recommend Viator and to ride with James.

There are nice places in putrajaya city, but the tour guide provided little information. Moreover, a boat ride is included in the excursions detail. However, the timing of the boat ride may be very late and falls outside the time frame of the excursion. In our case, it was at 12:00. This should be clearly outlined on the website.

Excellent tour! Highly recommend it! My driver/guide, James was knowledgeable of the places we visited and helpful when language was a slight barrier. My visit at the Iron Mosque was extended a bit but James was understanding and flexible about this. Overall I had a great time!
