The tour will be attending to alternative place or giving ou t a gift as a compensation depending on a situation at that time. Refunds will not be given for these changes.
  • Customers who add Lunch options on the day are charged more(3,000yen), therefore it is recommended to select desired add-ons in advance
  • Our lunch is buffet. Please note that there aren't many meals that are gluten-free or vegan-friendly, we do not recommend for booking the lunch.（The dates below will be a Japanese set meal instead of a buffet lunch:4/11, 4/13, 4/16, 4/23, 4/25)
  • If you are late for the tour start time, you will not be able to join the tour mid-way.
  • Not recommended for travelers who can not walk long distance. This tour includes lots of walkings.
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 38 travelers

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Excellent tour and exemplary service

We couldn't be happier with this Kyoto tour. We visited all the desired sites in a day, led by our fantastic guide, Nanami, who provided insightful historical and cultural facts. Additionally, Satosan went above and beyond by helping us reconnect with my brother who got lost after breakfast. Thank you so very much for your outstanding tour and exemplary service!

A trip to remember forever.Kyoto is an iconic city where no amount of time is enough,but At Chan our guide smoothly showed us the maximum possible in a day,her English was good enough for us to understand and follow her instructions.The buffet lunch spoilt us for choices.The shrines and temples will be etched in our memories forever.An extra thanks to At Chan for teaching us Japanese numbers,which became very handy during our stay in Japan.

We did the Perfect Day Kyoto with Harry. Harry was very knowledgeable, kind, and patient. The only reason I gave this tour four stars was we didn’t have much free time at the stops, but overall a great day trip to see the best spots in Kyoto!

I had a lovely time exploring Kyoto’s top attractions. My guide Aska was very knowledgeable about the different temples we saw. I recommend going on this trip in order to briefly see and experience Kyoto’s history and culture.

A worthwhile tour

It is one of the best tours we have had in Japan. The itinerary is well arranged except lunch. The tour guide At Chan is knowledge and has good sense of humor. It is not easy to lead a 40+ people group in crowed tour sites. Lunch should be considered to have a better place which could have space to spread out layout buffet food. This restaurant has all food placed in a small area. It took more than 15 min waiting in line for a 40 min lunch break. Pre-fix lunch should also be fine.

A full day of the highlights of Kyoto. We saw so much. Our tireless guide, Aska, was a delight. Helpful and friendly, with excellent English. Quite a bit of walking, but definitely worthwhile.

Unfortunately disappointed

It unfortunately was extremely rushed and after being checked in with the roster the tour guide left us and went to the bus tour, and we were stranded along with another tourists that we had to catch a cab back to the bus station for our items back on the bus. She did not tell us where she was going after she took attendance at the last stop meeting point location she quickly disappeared without letting us know she was heading back to the bus.

If you don’t have a lot of time in Kyoto but you want to see some amazing sites, this is a great tour! Japan Panoramic tours did a great job. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and very friendly! Would 100% book this again

Tour group size too large; guide tried to help but not successfully.

Most sites were important and useful. The group size was a little too large and for those lagging behind as seniors, it was not helpful. The sidewalks were busy and can accommodate one or persons at a time. Even our guide tried to do her best, it was frustrating for many of us. Please limit future size to 30.

A great tour for speed-running Kyoto

We had a wonderful day out in Kyoto. Our tour guide, Aska, was absolutely lovely! This tour is perfect for anyone with limited time in Kyoto, you do get to see a lot in one day! There is a lot of walking but there’s rest periods in between as it can take 30 minutes+ to go between some of the sites. I do wish we got to spend a bit more time at some places though. I could have easily spent at least another hour at Kiyomizu-dera temple. Overall, we had a great time!

Out tour guide Harry did an excellent job of providing a lot of information even during our bus travel from site to site. He was also attentive to the needs of some of the older clients. It was a jam packed tour to make the best of time. It was more walking than I expected.

We had a wonderful tour guide today. Harry was prefect! Knowledgeable, thoughtful, prepared, he went the extra mile for his group! Gave out some handouts he prepared, provided many interesting points, was very detailed and friendly… We travelled a lot, but I don’t believe we ever had a better guide. By the end of the day, he was everyone’s best friend!

Must Do if in Kyoto With Limited Time. The Perfect Day Tour!

Absolutely the most efficient way to see Kyoto’s key sights in a single day. While you don’t get a ton of time at each location, seeing 6 incredible sights in ~8 hours is perfect for those that want to have that once in a lifetime opportunity but don’t have a ton of time. Our wonderful tour guide, Aska, kept us informed, on time, and entertained the entire time. I thought the allotted time was perfect for what we wanted to experience and felt it was excellent value. We had a wonderful time! Highly recommended!
