Perfect one day tour of Pisa and Florence

The stop at the tower was a bit rushed, but we were able to climb to top and take some pics. We also walked the grounds and got a couple souvenirs and gelato on the way out. Definitely worth it!

No complaints but be mindful of the time if you plan to go up the tower!

Marina and the vendor did a great job coordinating and executing this tour. She was very knowledgeable and informative. I have no complaints with the experience other than it being hot in the bus. It was a rainy day so it was humid and there was no air in the bus. A few of us had asked for air to Marina which she relayed to the driver but did not feel any change in the temperature at all. Then apparently someone complained they were cold. Maybe only their vent was working? lol. Other than that I highly recommend this company. However pls note we only had about an hour and a half at Pisa so if you’re planning to go up the tower, you would not have enough time. Depending on the time you arrive, the line will be very very long so I’d say you need at least 2 hours so you’re not rushing.

Fabulous experience

We had a fabulous experience. The Florence excursion was perfect. We got lost going back to the bus and almost stayed behind, but our guide was understanding and very sweet about it We had enough opportunity for potty breaks throughout the excursion. Pisa was stunning and we had enough time to see everything without hurry. It was a long walk to the bus and it rained but we were prepared with umbrellas. Overall a great experience.

Federico is Ana amazing tour guide! He is energetic and informative and kind. It is quite a lot to get a big group to both Florence and Pisa within a single cruise port day, but they pulled it off. That being said, it does get rushed, especially in Pisa. And we were sweating just a bit when we got to the cruise terminal since we arrived ten minutes after the last shuttle taking guests from the terminal to the ship was supposed to have left. However, it seems they were in communication with the port and/or ship staff and we all made it back to the ship on time. Definitely a great value for the money!

Our guide Federico was wonderful. The sites were amazing, but as always people make the difference in the experience. I work in customer service and really appreciate all the care he took with us. He really looked out for his group and kept in touch. Luca wss our driver and got us to and from locations safely and on time..

The trip was very well organised and the team were easy to find at the cruise terminal. We were on a bus very quickly and left within the predicted time. The bus was comfortable with water available. Our guide Fred was very professional and provided a lot of information on the places we were driving past. Fred really made this trip fun and very enjoyable, he created a brilliant atmosphere on the bus with everyone. The meeting points and times were clearly explained and we were back in the cruise terminal on time.

This trip was amazing! Do not worry about getting back in time for the ship - they are amazing and stick to a strict time schedule to ensure you are back! The ship excursion would have cost us £200 per person and this was a fraction of the price for the exact same tour. The guide was fantastic and funny too - Would definitely recommend! 🙂

Long day trying to pack in Florence and Pisa in one go

The guide was very friendly and helpful, gave timely instructions re meeting point. Comfortable ride in the coach to Florence and then onwards to Pisa. Our only negative feed back would be not enough warning given on how much walking was involved in getting to the major sites. One of us had mobility issue and we were rushed to keep up with the crowd.

Our tour guide Matt was awesome. He answered all our questions and had a great sense of humor. This is a fast walking tour and on a strict time schedule so people should keep that in mind if they want a tour that allows them to explore at their leisure. This isn’t that kind of tour, but you do get a good look at some beautiful sites of Florence. I recommend the Tour guides need a long stick, flag, or something that can be seen over the crowds to keep up with guide. At certain points there are large crowds and you can fall behind the guide.

This was a good tour but a lot of walking which was expected. We took the walking tour with our guide Fredrico was was very good. The pick up off the ship was very convenient and was easy to find Viatour group! Frederico walk us for 2 hours and showed us the key highlight, then left us on our own which was good. Then we had to find our way back to the bus which as a challenge but we made it!! Trip to Leaning Tower was great, didn’t need too much time here and we were transported back to the ship on time! Overall a great tour and highly recommended

It has always been my dream to visit Italy and see the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Ponte Vecchio in Florence. This excursion to Florence and Pisa was exactly what I envisioned! Our guide, Giada was knowledgeable, organized and had a great sense of humor! I did not expect the Tower of Pisa to be as stunning and magnificent as it was, because I had heard from several friends and family members that it was not worth the time to go there. So not true! And seeing the sights in Florence was amazing. We did not have a lot of time there because we were on a cruise and had to be back on board by 5pm, but I will definitely go back and would happily book another tour through Viator.
