Tour was cancelled by national park
Deborah_W, Sep 2023
This tour was cancelled and we rebooked with national park tours for a different tour and was told by them that they were contacting you to refund us $40.00 for the difference in price. We have not received credit as of yet.

Thank you, and it does take a few days for refund to process. Glad you could join another tour.

This tour was a great experience. If you get the chance I highly recommend watching the sunset at the Grand Canyon. Our guide was very attentive and took some great pictures of me and my husband. It was a small group which made it much more fun.

If you are pondering taking this tour then you should definitely do it!!! Our tour guide Will was amazing! He gave us all the fun info to learn along the way! Beautiful comfy ride out to the Grand Canyon! Length of tour was perfect! Guano Point was a stunning place to watch the sunset at the Grand Canyon. And we were spoiled with a cozy chairs to sit in and sparkling cider to drink. I couldn’t think of anything that would have made it better! Thank you so much!!!

Dissatisfied

Visit at Grand Canyon was fine. However, bus driver hit a parked vehicle as we exited highway. Knocked off our passenger side mirror. Tried to fix with duct tape (didn’t work). Collapsed to tour company director. 4 weeks later, no response at all. Would NOT recommend this company.
Response from Host, Jul 2022
We are sorry that your tour experience was unsatisfactory due to the mirror incident. We do hope you will still have good memories of visiting the canyon though.
Breathtaking

Great view of sunset from the Grand Canyon but a long day.
Sheri_P, May 2021
Patrick the tour guide was excellent. Tour was longer than stated 8 hours, not enough waters on a hot day. Should have them for the ride back also, bus was warm even with ac. Appreciated the stops. Sunset was truly amazing and the Grand Canyon was wonderful to see.
Response from Host, Jun 2021

Where do I start.. we were picked up at the Ballys Hotel at 3pm 5/16. The bus was on time. when we finally got on the road, it wasn't long before we were about to slam in the back of a vehicle. That aside, Most of the trip to the GC the driver (Patrick) was swerving off and on the road. I noticed he kept looing at a phone or texting or looking at some papers. He didn't give knowledge of any history but the Mead lake was man made. which according to the description of the excursion, we were suppose to stop for a photo. when we stopped for a bathroom break/lunch, while getting coffee i asked him if he was ok and needed coffee. He said, " DONT DO THAT, DONT DO THAT. WHY DID YOU GET ON THE BUS THEN!" I wasn't sure what that meant but I'm assuming that he was offended of my comment. The Turkey sandwich was HORRIBLE!!!! BARELY MEAT AND THE BREAD WAS SUPER HARD! Also when we arrived to "check in", we sat on the bus for about 30 mins before we headed up to the canyon, by then it was 7pm. We had only an hour and we felt rushed. I also thought we were to have or do a non alcoholic toast, that didn't happen either. we saw the driver open bottles but nothing was said. The only interesting thing on this trip was the video that was shown on the way back on the bus. needless to say, he did not get a tip from us and I'm sure from many.

Beautiful view; worth the time and money
Katie_G, May 2021
This tour is amazing! We ate a 'heavy' lunch before we left, so the dinner provided was the perfect amount for us. The tour guide is very knowledgeable about Vegas, the Grand Canyon, and everything surrounding it. The Grand Canyon at sunset is the best way to see it! Pictures don't do it justice; a MUST DO for everyone!
Response from Host, May 2021

Breath-taking!

Amazing day trip!
Lisa_H, Jun 2019
I wanted to keep this treasure of a trip to my self and loved ones, but I'll share. This trip helps you miss the extreme heat of the day while at the GC. Our bus was a smaller 24 seater than the charter bus 50, which i strongly recommend as I am not the big bus type -too cramped, too many people, and causes motion sickness. Rob, our tour guide, was so accommodating, personable, helpful, professional, and genuinely wanted us to have the best experience he could provide. As the sun set, we got the best pictures of the valleys because of no shadows -way better than the pre-sunset pics.
No Sunset, No Access to Grand Canyon
mrumble, Jun 2019
It's been a week since our tour and I've attempted to contact both the tour operator and Viator. Through Viator I was offered a 10% refund which I feel is inadequate for my concerns and I have decided to warn others. When we arrived at the Grand Canyon our driver stated he was unfamiliar with the process of getting a permit to travel on Hualapai land and where specifically to drive. In consulting with the security officials at the site, he was informed that our bus needed to exit the site by 7:30pm, a full 20 minutes before sunset. I did overhear him attempt to appeal this time frame, specifically mentioning that our tour was a sunset one but the decision was made that we had to leave. When we arrived at Guano Point, a handful of other tourists were still there and a different security guard on site said that he expected to ask them to leave after 8pm and the front gate wasn't closed and locked until 8:30. My complaint is that this is advertised as a sunset tour and either the tour is not permitted to be on the land during that time or the tour operator completely dropped the ball in security the proper permissions. So, if you want a sunset over the Grand Canyon, this is NOT the tour for you.
